Find the Right Watch Strap Size
Choosing the correct watch strap size requires three measurements: width, length, and taper. Start with width to ensure fit, then choose length for comfort, and taper for appearance.
Strap Width
Strap width must match your watch’s lug width exactly. If the width is wrong, the strap will not fit.

- Most common sizes are 20 mm and 22 mm, but a range of other sizes exists.
Strap Length
Strap length affects comfort, buckle position, and how much strap tail remains after fastening.

- Available in Short, Regular, and Long options
- Shown as two numbers (long side / short side) in millimeters
Strap Taper
Taper is the change in width from the lugs to the buckle. It affects appearance only.
Taper does not affect fit.
- Written as lug width / buckle width
- More taper looks slimmer and dressier
- Less taper looks sportier and more robust
