Choosing the Right ColaReb Strap

Use the steps below to choose the correct ColaReb strap width and length and check buckle size and strap thickness.

Lug Width

To determine the width of the lugs of your watch, use a metric ruler to measure the distance between the two lugs (the protruding ends to which the strap is attached). Need more help measuring? See our Strap Width Guide.

Strap Length

Choose a strap length appropriate for your wrist. If you have a two-piece strap that fits comfortably, measure both pieces and compare the measurements with those listed on the product page.

Buckle Size

All ColaReb straps are supplied with a stainless steel buckle (polished or satin-finished depending on the model), on which the ColaReb logo is engraved. If you want to use the buckle from a previous strap (for example, the one supplied with the watch), compare the size of your buckle with the one in the product description.

Strap Thickness

Strap thickness affects both appearance and fit. Thinner straps generally pair well with slim watch cases, while thicker straps are better proportioned to larger, heavier watches.

Replacing the Strap

Most two-piece watch straps are secured between the lugs with spring bars. Insert a spring bar tool between the strap and the watch case and locate the shoulder of the spring bar.

Compress the spring bar toward the center of the strap until it clears the lug hole, then carefully remove that side of the strap. Repeat on the other side.

Replacing the Buckle

To remove the buckle, insert a spring bar tool between the buckle and the strap. Compress one end of the spring bar toward the center until it clears the buckle, then remove the buckle and spring bar.

Install the replacement buckle by reversing the process, making sure the spring bar is fully seated on both sides.
