Find My Strap Length
Strap length affects how your watch fits your wrist, where the buckle sits and how much strap tail remains after fastening. It does not determine whether the strap fits between your watch's lugs; strap width does.

How strap length is measured
Two-piece watch strap lengths are typically shown as two numbers: long end / short end. For example, 115/75mm means a 115mm long piece and a 75mm short piece (not including the buckle).
For convenience, we group strap lengths into Short, Regular and Long. Exact dimensions and wrist-fit ranges vary by brand and model and are shown on each product page.
Measure your wrist
Your wrist measurement is the starting point for choosing a strap length. Use a flexible tape measure, a strip of paper or a piece of string and a ruler.
- Wrap the tape, paper or string around your wrist where the watch sits.
- Mark where the ends meet without pulling the tape or paper excessively tight or leaving extra slack.
- Lay the tape, paper or string on the ruler to read the measurement in inches or millimeters.
Choosing the right strap length
Short, Regular and Long are useful general length categories, but exact wrist fit varies by brand and strap design. Two straps labeled Regular, for example, may have different dimensions and fit different wrist sizes.
After measuring your wrist, check the Fits wrists measurement on the product page for the specific strap you are considering. This is the best indication of whether that strap will fit your wrist.
You can also compare the numeric strap length to a strap you already own that fits well. For two-piece straps, dimensions are shown as long end / short end, such as 120/80mm.

Common questions
What if two strap lengths both fit my wrist?
If two lengths both include your wrist size, either may work. Choose the shorter option if you prefer less strap tail or the longer option if you prefer more room and a longer tail.
How much strap tail is ideal?
A properly sized conventional strap should leave enough tail to pass securely through the keeper without leaving an excessive amount beyond it. The exact amount varies by strap design and personal preference.
Do deployant clasps affect strap length?
They can. Fit depends on the clasp design, strap length and watch size. If a strap is designed specifically for a deployant clasp, follow the sizing information provided on that product page.
What about very small or very large wrists?
Wrist-fit ranges vary considerably by strap. Check the Fits wrists measurement on each product page and compare the numeric dimensions to a strap you already own that fits well. You can also contact us for help selecting a length.
