Find My Strap Width
Your strap width must match your watch’s lug width for a secure, gap-free fit. Measure once and go straight to the straps that fit.

Your lug width determines your strap width
Lug width is the inside distance between your watch lugs. Choose a strap that matches this measurement exactly.
How to measure your lug width
Use a ruler with millimeters, or a set of calipers for the most accurate reading.
- Remove the strap or bracelet if it blocks access to the lugs.
- Place the ruler or calipers inside the lugs, right against the case walls.
- Read the distance in millimeters.
Common widths: 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm, 21 mm, 22 mm, 24 mm.
A 20 mm lug width requires a 20 mm strap.
Tip: If your reading is between two numbers, choose the nearest whole size. Watches are manufactured to standard widths.
Know your watch model?
Many watches have standard lug widths. If you know your model (for example Omega Seamaster, Tudor Black Bay, Seiko SKX), you can confirm the width in the manual or by a quick search, then select that size below.
Most modern watches use 20 mm or 22 mm.

Common questions
What if the strap is 1 mm off?
Too narrow: the strap can shift and expose gaps. Too wide: it usually won’t fit and may damage the strap edges or spring bars.
Does the buckle width need to match?
Not always. Many straps taper toward the buckle. When replacing a buckle or adding a deployant clasp, match the width at the buckle end.
Using adapters?
Apple Watch and some other models use adapters that convert to a standard lug width. Choose a strap based on the adapter width, not the watch itself.
