Artem Loop-Less Sailcloth Strap Sizing Guide

Find Your Perfect Fit

You'll need two measurements to choose the correct Artem Loop-Less strap size: your watch's lug width and your wrist circumference. You'll also need to select the correct deployant clasp size for the strap.

Strap Width

On a wristwatch, lug width determines strap size. "Lug width" refers to the distance between the two projections that hold your strap in place, as shown.

Measure your lug width using a metric ruler or a caliper. The width must be in millimeters (not inches), and it must be a whole number (18mm, 19mm, 20mm, etc.). The strap size will match the lug width. If your lug width is 20mm, select a 20mm strap. Not sure how to measure? See our Strap Width Guide for additional help.

Strap Length

To determine your strap length, you'll need your wrist measurement in inches.

Using a flexible tape measure or a strip of paper, wrap your wrist where your watch would naturally sit. Mark the point where the two ends meet.

If using a paper strip, use a ruler to measure it (in inches). That number is your wrist size.

Artem Loop-Less straps are produced in multiple lengths. Available lengths are shown on each product page. If your wrist measurement falls between two available lengths, choose the longer length.

Strap/Clasp Taper

Loop-Less straps taper from the lug end toward the clasp. The deployant clasp size must match the width of the strap at the clasp end, not the lug width.

Your buckle width matches the width at the buckle end of the strap, not the lug end.

Example:

For example, an Artem 20mm Loop-Less strap tapers to 18mm at the clasp end, so it requires an 18mm deployant clasp. A 20mm clasp will not fit.
