Guide to your choice
To find the best strap for your watch and your wrist, you need to know the different lengths and sizes available. Follow the steps below:
Lug width
To determine the width of the lugs of your watch, use a metric ruler to measure the distance between the two lugs (the protruding ends to which the strap is attached).
Strap length
For optimal use of the watch, it is essential to purchase a strap of a length suitable for your wrist. Measure the length of the last strap that felt comfortable.
Buckle size
All ColaReb straps are supplied with a stainless steel buckle (polished or satin-finished depending on the model), on which the ColaReb logo is engraved. If you want to use the buckle from a previous strap (for example, the one supplied with the watch), compare the size of your buckle with the one in the product description.
Strap thickness
From an aesthetic point of view, thin or flat watches are better matched to thin straps, while robust and large watches require a thicker strap for better ergonomics and a more homogeneous design.
Replacing the strap
To remove the old strap from the lugs of your watch and install the new one, follow the steps below:
The strap is usually attached to the watch with spring bars. Use a spring bar tool to locate the end of the spring bar between the strap and the case.
Then, push in the end of the bar to extract it from the hole in the case and remove the first side of the strap. Perform the same operation on both sides.
Replacing the buckle
To remove the buckle, use a spring bar tool as you would for the strap. Place the tool between the buckle and the strap on one side, and push the end of the spring bar towards the center.
Remove the spring bar using the spring bar tool.

ColaReb, a Rome-based Italian family business established in 1990, is well known for its meticulously handcrafted watch straps made in the Italian tradition of fine leatherwork. The company's hand-stitched leather and plant-based straps feature distinctive treatments and are designed and made entirely and exclusively in Italy using Italian materials. Every ColaReb product is one-of-a-kind, and as with any authentically handmade artisanal creation, slight imperfections and tonal variations add to the charm and rustic appeal of each unique piece.
All ColaReb products are made with 100% hypoallergenic, water-repellent linings and hypoallergenic stainless steel buckles. ColaReb collaborates exclusively with tanneries that operate in full compliance with the European Union's REACH regulations and standards, the most restrictive in the world in terms of consumer health and safety.
The Siena is integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.

Lug/Buckle Taper Many straps taper in width toward the buckle. This is an important measurement if you plan to swap out the buckle or add a deployant clasp. Your buckle size matches the width at the BUCKLE end of the strap, not the lug end.

I have a few colareb straps I really like them. Of course they cost little more but O prefer to spend double but to enjoy a quality look and feel since day one. If you think and compere to other 100 or 200 straps 60 70 is not much more specially if you love your watch.
Bought this to replace a scratched-up metal band on a Shinola Canfield, and am very happy with it! It complements the watch well and the leather is clearly good quality (I'm a sucker for the new-leather smell too). Looking forward to having the band break in over time, and it should last for many years. I've bought other bands from Holben's before, and am always happy with their quality and prompt shipping.
Colareb siena blue watch strap is beautiful. Super soft and comfortable right out of the envelope. It really sets of my Helm Miyako blue dial watch beautifully. And as always Holben's service was outstanding, on its way within hours of placing the order.
Really Good quality it matches with my Black PVD watch. Only wish that the black buckle was the same style as the one that comes with the strap.
The strap arrived quickly to Canada via USPS and Canada Post and I was able to track the shipment while it was with USPS. Excellent quality leather for $60 US, in the short length I prefer. I will definitely buy Colareb again and from Holben’s. I’m wearing it on my Timex Expedition and Islander ISL-107.
I knew I wanted to try Colareb vintage leather straps, the price with Holben’s was as good as ordering direct from Colareb in Italy. The straps arrived quickly to Canada via USPS and Canada Post and I was able to track the shipment while it was with USPS. Excellent quality leather for $60 US, in the short length I prefer. I will definitely buy Colareb again and from Holben’s. First pic is the strap on my Long Island Watch Company 39mm Flieger ISL-107.
I didn’t care or the original band on my Hamilton Khaki field. This band, paired with the the black stainless buckle is a solid alternative!
I knew out of the box I would want to replace my Orient Sun and Moon V3’s deployment clasp. I looked around a few places, saw the reviews on here, and picked up a set. Now it’s so much easier to put this watch on and it feels very secure in my wrist! Also, I can’t help but smell that wonderful leather scent.
It's a excellent upgrade from my stock watch strap. The design and construction of the strap is very well made. The strap is thick enough to hold its shape after a couple of weeks use, but very comfortable to wear, easily broken in after just a few hours on the wrist. Would definitely buy Colareb again in the future.
