ColaReb, a Rome-based Italian family business established in 1990, is well known for its meticulously handcrafted watch straps made in the Italian tradition of fine leatherwork. The Sustain is integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.
This watch band was exactly what I was looking for! It looks and feels great, though it will of course still need to stand the test of time. I’m definitely interested now in picking up another watch band at some point from ColaReb.
It's not easy to find the strap I was looking for: 22mm wide, short length, with quick-release spring bars. And, of course, it should be a high-quality strap. This Colareb met my requirements and it looks great on my Sinn 6100. In particular, I like the taper from 22mm to 18mm which provides a more refined appearance. I've purchased vegan straps from Colareb before and it actually seems more durable than leather. The only negative compared to leather is that it doesn't have that nice leather smell.
Holben's is one of the very few places where I was able to find a quality vegan watchband that would harmonize with my vintage Movado watch. The store offered quality merchandise at a fair price, promptly mailed to me. Mike, who I think is one of the owners, even answered an email over the weekend.
