ColaReb, a Rome-based Italian family business established in 1990, is well known for its meticulously handcrafted watch straps made in the Italian tradition of fine leatherwork. ColaReb collaborates exclusively with tanneries that operate in full compliance with the European Union's REACH regulations and standards, the most restrictive in the world in terms of consumer health and safety.
The Roma is integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.
This is my first Holben’s purchase (thanks to Urban Gentry), and I’m hooked. It looks great on my Hanhart, but it absolutely levels up my Orient Bambino v7. The strap that came with the Bambino was fine, but this Roma strap is so complimentary. Probably will pick up a few more in other colors at some point.
One thing, I was not looking specifically for a quick release strap, and the pictures don’t show quick release spring bars. But, these straps did come with quick release. No complaints, but worth mentioning.
Holbens shipped this and a few other things within 12 hours of the order. They’re located in Washington state, and so am I, the straps arrived next day, awesome!
The quality of the strap is incredible for the price and, to my mind, clearly superior to straps that cost only a little less. This is worth it, and Holbens was reasonable and accommodating when an unexpected issue arose with my order (namely, a damaged strap).
