Staib 2792: Best mesh bracelet

For the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 42mm, the Staib 2792 is our favorite all-around mesh bracelet. Its tightly woven German-made Milanese construction has enough substance for the 42mm case while remaining flexible and relatively streamlined.

The 2792 Matte gives the Seamaster a more understated look, while the 2792 Polished picks up the polished surfaces of the case and adds more shine. Both finishes work well with the Diver 300M, so the choice comes down largely to the look you prefer.

The 2792 is also available with either a standard clasp or a diver-extension clasp, with both clasp styles offered in matte and polished finishes. The standard clasp is the simpler choice for everyday wear, while the diver-extension version provides extra length when the bracelet needs to fit over a wetsuit or other diving gear.

At 3.6mm thick, the 2792 sits in the middle of Staib's mesh range and is the version we would recommend to the widest range of Seamaster owners. If you prefer a heavier, more substantial bracelet, the heavier Staib 2784 is also well suited to the Diver 300M and gives the watch a noticeably more robust feel. Choose 20mm for the Seamaster covered by this guide, then select the Staib construction, finish, clasp style and appropriate available length.

Forstner Model O: Best fitted bracelet

If you want a fitted bracelet, the Forstner Model O is our choice for the post-2018 Seamaster Diver 300M. Its curved end links meet the case directly, while the broad three-link design gives the watch a simpler alternative to the factory multi-link bracelet.

The Model O is made from 316L stainless steel with a fully brushed finish. A spring-loaded comfort link behind the clasp and six micro-adjustment positions make it easy to fine-tune the fit, which is one of the reasons we prefer it among the fitted Forstner choices for this watch.

Choose the correct version: for the 42mm Seamaster covered by this guide, select the 20mm post-2018 Seamaster option. Forstner makes a separate version for earlier cases. The Model O is not compatible with the Seamaster Chronograph or No Time To Die edition.

Artem Classic: Best sailcloth strap

For sailcloth, we would put the Artem Classic on the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. It has more structure than a woven textile strap, making it a good middle ground when you want something less conventional than rubber without making the watch dressier. The sailcloth-pattern surface suits the modern Diver 300M particularly well and quick-release spring bars make the Classic convenient if you regularly rotate between straps and a bracelet.

Black is the easiest choice, but we would not automatically use it on every Seamaster. Blue works naturally with a blue dial and bezel, while grey is particularly good when you want the dial color to stand out. Green gives owners of the green Seamaster another direction without requiring an exact color match.

Bonetto Cinturini 328: Best rubber strap

For rubber, we would go with the Bonetto Cinturini 328. Made in Italy from vulcanized NBR rubber, it is water-ready and gives the Seamaster a very different option from the usual two-piece rubber strap.

The Bonetto 328 can be converted from its two-layer pass-through configuration to a single-pass strap by removing the secondary section. With only one layer of rubber beneath the watch, the case sits lower and the overall setup feels less bulky. We like having both configurations available in the same strap.

The color range is another reason the 328 makes our list. Black works with virtually every Seamaster, but this is one strap where we would seriously consider color. Blue is particularly good with a blue Seamaster, while grey, green and brighter options can either complement the watch or deliberately add contrast.

Erika's Originals MN — Best textile strap

Erika's Originals MN is the textile strap we would choose for the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 42mm. Its woven elastic construction moves with the wrist and the sliding clasp provides continuous adjustment rather than limiting the fit to fixed buckle holes.

This is the option we would choose when the goal is to make the Seamaster feel lighter and more casual without giving up a secure fit. The single-pass construction also keeps the setup relatively slim compared with a traditional two-layer pass-through strap.

There is plenty of room to use color here. Black and grey are easy choices, blue works naturally with blue models and a restrained stripe can pick up a dial accent without becoming the main event. On a white-dial Seamaster, a black or grey strap with a red detail is one of our favorite combinations.

Di-Modell Chronissimo: Best leather strap

Of the leather straps we carry, the Di-Modell Chronissimo is the one we would choose for the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 42mm. A slim dress strap can look out of scale on this watch. The Chronissimo is heavily padded and flares near the case, giving it enough substance to hold its own against the broad lugs and 42mm case.

The full-grain calfskin has a matte, textured surface rather than a glossy dress finish. The Chronissimo can handle regular water exposure, but the leather will absorb some moisture and should be allowed to dry fully after getting wet.

Black is our first choice if you want to preserve more of the Seamaster's sport-watch character. Brown changes the watch more dramatically and is the direction we would take when the goal is a warmer, more casual look.
