This small spring bar tool is a simple way to change straps. Its compact size gives you precise control, with fixed fork and pin ends for removing and installing spring bars.
Stainless steel construction with a corrosion-resistant finish. The knurled midsection provides grip.
The 0.7mm pin is suited for drilled lugs and fine adjustments, while the 1.7mm fork works with most spring bars. The shorter 76mm length is easy to manage in tight spaces.

Quality tool. It’s on the small side, but isn’t too small to use. Have used it several time to swap spring bars and have had no issues with bending.
Overall the small spring bar tool was decent. I am able to swap straps fairly easy. I have a couple of negative comments about. First, is the pin had bent after using it and had to bend it back straight. Second, same thing happened with the fork, the pointy part bend. I should have bought the bigger tool, it may had better quality. And I sometimes find it is too small to use.

Used it to swap out the metal strap on my new Seiko 5. Worked fine, better than the micro screw driver I had originally tried.
I'm a watch strap changing novice, but it seems this tool isn't optimal for the job. As others have mentioned the fork is a bit wide, which makes it difficult to work in tight spaces. I had quite a bit of trouble removing the metal band from my watch.
Worth mentioning, though, that the wide fork allows one with less fine motor skills (or eyesight) to easily change a strap, especially if the strap is leather or fabric.

For a small tool, I can't complain. It is a little tough to use if you have bigger hands, but it gets the job done pretty easily.
It works, but for bigger hands, I should have gone for the longer tool. Small price difference between the two. BUT it gets the job done!
Good to hear it got the job done. At 83mm (about 3-5/16'), this is the more compact version. The longer tool can offer a bit more leverage and control for larger hands.
I'm an amateur watch hobbyist, so I wasn't looking to spend a lot of cash on a spring bar tool. For a small tool this one is surprisingly sturdy, and the textured grip is great. I use it mostly for standard spring bar removal, and would buy it again.

I loved the size of the tool. Has a good grip also, but the fork is just too wide for most spring bars. I really have to put the effort to grab anything with these.
On the other hand, very convenient for travel due to small size.
Thanks for the feedback, and glad to hear the size and grip worked well. The fork on this tool is 1.9mm, which works well with standard spring bars like the ones we include with our straps. On watches with tighter lug clearance, it can take more effort to engage. We appreciate you sharing your experience.
