Genuine Louisiana alligator with Hirsch Silkglove lining.
Hand-brushed to a soft matte sheen, the Hirsch Regent is a classic alligator dress strap. The oval grain pattern and slightly raised scales give the leather natural variation that works well with polished steel or gold cases. It suits slim dress watches and formal case designs where the strap should support the watch rather than compete with it.
Material & feel
The strap is cut from genuine Louisiana alligator flank leather that is deep barrel-dyed for rich, even color. Construction details include a fine matching backstitched seam, a hand-sewn bar seam at the buckle, and safety stitching on the keeper.
The underside is lined with Hirsch Silkglove leather, which is hypoallergenic and comfortable against the skin. The strap is fitted with a Hirsch-branded polished stainless steel buckle.

This slim strap keeps the watch close to the wrist without extra bulk at the lugs. The leather is flexible from the start and breaks in quickly.
Length & wrist size:
- Short: 110mm / 70mm (fits wrists approx. 6.25–7.0in)
- Regular: 120mm / 80mm (fits wrists approx. 6.75–7.75in)
If your wrist sits near the overlap between sizes, either length can work. A shorter strap reduces tail and positions the buckle more tightly, while a longer strap provides more room and tail.
Measurements exclude the buckle.

Wear & care
Can get wet, handles regular water exposure but will absorb moisture. Allow it to dry fully after use.
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. If needed, rinse briefly under lukewarm water and allow to air dry fully. Avoid prolonged soaking, cleaners or conditioners.
