Fine stainless steel mesh gives the Milanaise the tightly woven look associated with mid-century mesh bracelets, especially on slim dress watches and early dive watches. Unlike heavier link bracelets, the flexible mesh drapes closely around the wrist and changes shape easily as the watch moves. The magnetic clasp allows nearly continuous adjustment across the full length of the bracelet.
The Milanaise is made from stainless steel woven into a fine mesh structure commonly known as a milanese bracelet, originally produced in Italy during the early decades of wristwatches. The tightly interlaced metal strands create a smooth surface that remains durable while maintaining a light feel on the wrist.
