My Hirsch Liberty watch strap arrived today, and it is absolutely spectacular. Having an 8.25-inch wrist, finding a comfortable fit is often a challenge, but the XL size fits flawlessly. This is my second experience with the brand—having previously purchased the Hirsch Kansas in black, which boasts incredible quality—and Hirsch has exceeded my expectations once again. I paired the dark tan Liberty strap with my Glycine Contemporary Worldtimer, and the contrast between the watch's blue dial and the rich leather is a stunning combination. Right out of the box, the leather is remarkably supple and comfortable on the wrist, and I can already tell it will only get better as it breaks in over time. I could not be happier with this purchase.
This is my third Liberty strap. It looks great on my Seiko Sports. What I like about the newest strap is the quick release. It's a welcome improvement. The weak link in this strap has always been the keepers. Every previous Liberty strap I've owned, the keepers failed early and I went to a leather shop to have new ones crafted and installed. It didn't cost a lot, but this has been an ongoing concern that the quality control / durability was given such a low priority. The keepers on my new strap seem to be well made and better than the two previous, so I have very high hopes this new one will not need repair to last. I'm taking one star off for the poor durability of the previous straps, but these are really beautiful on a watch.
It is my second Hirsch watch strap. I like the high-quality leather. It is a 20MM strap, and I am getting the large size watch strap. I was looking for a long watch strap for quite a while, and I found that Hirsch is one of the few companies that have this length. (12cm +10cm strap)
I ordered this band a few months ago as the original band on my Citizen Cal.E280 was too short. The leather is of high quality, and repeated wearings show no wear on either the leather or the stitching, and just a little break in shaping and bending in the buckle area - actually less than I expected for such a thick band. The integral pins are holding quite well, and though I did order a set of standard pins, I won't be using them. The band has taken on just a tiny bit of patina from the environment... just enough to make it look ageless.
I had some concerns about the sizing of the band in comparison to the generic sizing description on the website, and Holbens excellent customer service walked me through to make sure I got exactly what size I needed. I'm totally happy to give this band, and Holbens as a company, a 5 star review.
Extremely comfortable quality strap. Little if any breakin time. Quick and easy install thanks to quick release spring bars. 20mm strap. Installed Holben's 18mm brushed stainless steel buckle to match the brushed surfaces on the watch. Always have buckles on hand. Love the buckle and strap. I don't believe there is a more comfortable, handsome, and well made leather strap for the money. I loved it on my Seiko SARX043 and it took my Baby Alpinist to a whole new level!
The leather is supple and thick. Looks fantastic on the wrist and really compliments the watch. Well crafted. You can just tell it will hold up well. Will be purchasing a black one this week for my new chronograph. The extra long fits my 8 1/4 inch wrist wonderfully. Shipping was fast and the packaging was more than adequate. Push the button you won't be disappointed.
The 4.5mm thickness of the full grain leather coupled with the off-white contrast stitching makes for a perfect match with this seiko dresskx. This is my first Hirsch strap, and the quality does not disappoint. I wanted a strap for work since the bracelet seems a little dressy for biz casual. Great choice.

I’m very pleased with the Hirsch Liberty strap. Thick, strong leather that still molds to the curvature of your wrist. This strap is hard to beat for the price. Love it on my Omega Seamaster.

This is a great strap that is extremely thick and well made. Looks awesome on my new Seiko SBDC053 with the blue dial & bezel. Highly recommended.

Great looking strap. A little on the thick side, but is comfortable. I purchased it to replace the strap on my Seiko SARB017. Has slight dark discolorations in the leather close to the top where the strap connects to the spring bar (see Pic 2). If it weren't for that I would have given it 5 stars.

As always everything Mike sells is great quality and just what’s needed. Have bought several watches and many bands over the years. This one the perfect complement to a vintage Swiss army watch. Love this liberty band. Pricey but it’s basically a lifetime investment so it’s worth it compared to most others. Great price and free shipping appreciated
Well made strap. Correct sizing, and fit. The leather is of a high quality, and goes quite well with my Hanhart 3 hand aviator. Also shipping was dapid and ise of tje website easy.
I might have reviewed this strap before, so please forgive my enthusiasm if that is the case. I have the Liberty on two watches, and I've previously had it on three others. This is a strap that can seriously upgrade a watch's appearance, and comfort as well. It holds its shape extremely well, and is not at all uncomfortable. You can add a hole without worrying about it coming apart. I just hope they never stop making these.
Purchased this strap to replace the original leather strap on my Oris Pro Pilot Big Crown watch.
The Hirsch strap is much thicker than the original and has a deeper rich brown color with prominent white stitching In spite of the thickness it is flexible and conformed to my wrist almost immediately.
I am enjoying how it adds wrist presence to the watch.In fact when my daughter was visiting recently she immediately noticed that I had changed the strap and she is definitely not a watch geek. Great strap for a tool style watch.
