Hirsch Liberty Leather Watch Strap - Black
Fiber-dyed saddle leather with hand-lacquered edges.
Built from thick vegetable-tanned saddle leather, the Liberty has oversized backstitched seams and a broad, belt-like profile that feels closer to old saddlery and workwear leather than modern dress straps. The surface stays mostly smooth and unembossed, allowing the natural grain and edge finishing to stand out instead of patterned texture or gloss. Pilot watches, field watches and highly legible tool-watch dials suit it well, especially alongside brushed steel cases.
Material & feel
Liberty is cut from a single piece of sturdy saddle leather dyed fiber-deep in the barrel. The leather has a dense structure with a firm hand that maintains its shape through regular wear. The edges are sealed with three layers of hand-applied lacquer for durability and a smooth perimeter. The strap is fitted with quick-release spring bars and a Hirsch-branded polished stainless steel buckle.
