In brown, the Hirsch Heavy Calf takes on a grounded, utilitarian character that suits brushed steel field watches and pilot chronographs. The white stitching stands out clearly against the darker surface, echoing printed Arabic numerals and bold minute tracks. Its generous padding gives larger tool cases the structure they demand, while the semi matte finish keeps the strap from competing with polished bezels or applied markers. Material & feel
The strap is made from hard wearing, full grain Italian calfskin with a dense fiber structure that resists scratches and daily wear. It is generously padded, giving it substantial body and a firm hand. The edges are painted and finished using Hirsch’s Coupé Franc construction, a rembordéd edge sealed with three layers of hand applied lacquer for added durability. The surface has a semi matte sheen that limits reflection. The underside is lined with Hirsch Oysterglove Supersoft leather, which is hypoallergenic and designed for long term comfort against the skin.

Wear & care
Can get wet, handles regular water exposure but will absorb moisture. Allow it to dry fully after use.
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. If needed, rinse briefly under lukewarm water and allow to air dry fully. Avoid prolonged soaking, cleaners or conditioners.
