Buffed by hand for a brilliant shine, Hirsch's genuine lizard watch strap is a high-quality classic made from premium lizard leather with dense, pearl-type scales. This is an elegant strap with a slim profile and boat-shaped tip. Hirsch's Velvet Glove lining leather is hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin. Because leather is a natural product, slight variations in color and texture may occur, differing slightly from the product photos.
All of our Hirsch straps are integrated with handy quick-release spring bars. Prefer standard spring bars? Quick-release bars are easy to remove: simply slide the lever as far as you can to the left, then gently bend back the strap corner until the bar emerges from the slot.

Using this on a Cartier Tank Louis. Love the classic and understated look, but I fear this strap won’t last too long. Already I’m noticing that it’s flaking around where the strap bends at the pin buckle. Maybe it will improve as the strap breaks in and softens, but I’m concerned it will look bad by that point.
The quality of the strap is superior, with great texture on the lizard leather. Feels sturdy and substantial without adding heft or weight to the watch combination. Also, a great match for a vintage piece. Would definitely get straps from this vendor again. Very happy!!
As usual, Holbens is a good place to do business with. The strap is very attractive, a little stiff but will no doubt loosen up with use.
