Duke has long been one of Hirsch’s most popular embossed dress straps. Here, the neutral grey tone works cleanly with slim steel cases and white or silver dials, without drawing attention away from the watch.

Material & feel

Duke is crafted from full grain Italian calfskin embossed with an alligator grain pattern that produces consistent scale definition across the strap. The leather maintains natural density beneath the embossing, offering moderate firmness with flexibility.

Light padding adds subtle body while keeping the strap balanced at the wrist. Folded edges create a clean perimeter, and the Softglove lining is hypoallergenic and smooth against the skin.

This padded strap has more body than a slim dress strap, with a fuller shape near the case and less bulk toward the buckle. It suits watches that need more visual weight.

Length & wrist size:

  • Short: 110mm / 70mm (fits wrists approx. 6.25–7.0in)
  • Regular: 120mm / 80mm (fits wrists approx. 6.75–7.75in)

If your wrist sits near the overlap between sizes, either length can work. A shorter strap reduces tail and positions the buckle more tightly, while a longer strap provides more room and tail.

Measurements exclude the buckle.

Wear & care

Can get wet, handles regular water exposure but will absorb moisture. Allow it to dry fully after use.

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. If needed, rinse briefly under lukewarm water and allow to air dry fully. Avoid prolonged soaking, cleaners or conditioners.
