Some straps recede. Brown Boston does not. The darker tone anchors silver and black dials and gives polished steel watches a more substantial outline. With its visible stitching and firm presence, it works well on everyday mechanical pieces that can carry a strap with weight and character.

Boston is made from full grain buffalo calfskin with a semi-aniline finish that preserves the natural character of the hide while giving the surface even depth. The leather has a semi-matte look and a dense, structured feel rather than a soft drape.
Light padding adds body and definition on the wrist, tapering gradually for balance. Folded edges keep the profile clean, and the white stitching stands out crisply against the black. The Softglove lining is smooth, flexible, and comfortable against the skin.

Padded leather straps wear with a fuller, more structured feel that gives the watch added presence on the wrist. The layered construction creates a rounded profile at the case while remaining smooth and comfortable against the skin.
The two-piece layout keeps the watch centered and supported, with the padding tapering away toward the buckle so the strap does not feel bulky once fastened. After settling, the strap maintains its shape and position, favoring a stable, refined fit over flexibility or drape.
Hirsch length labeling: Hirsch uses M for Short length and L for Regular length on product packaging.
Length & wrist size:
If your wrist sits near the overlap between sizes, either length can work. A shorter strap reduces tail and positions the buckle more tightly, while a longer strap provides more room and tail.
Measurements exclude the buckle.
Water exposure: Splash resistant, suitable for light moisture such as hand washing or rain.
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning products, including leather cleaners. For heavier soiling, the strap may be briefly rinsed under running water. Avoid soaking or prolonged exposure to water. Dry with a soft cotton cloth or allow to air dry at room temperature. If the strap becomes damp from perspiration or heat, gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
