Hirsch Bagnore Leather Watch Strap - Black
- Price
- $199.95
A matte black leather surface and bold contrast stitching give the Hirsch Bagnore a distinctly vintage tone. It feels rugged rather than polished, making it a natural fit for field watches, brushed steel cases, and dials with cream lume or textured finishes. On modern black tool watches, it adds depth and visible detail without introducing shine.
Naturally tanned calfskin with hand-sewn contrast stitching.
Material & feel
Bagnore is crafted from natural vegetable-tanned, barrel-milled calfskin. The milling process softens the leather and gives it subtle surface variation, designed to develop richer patina over time.
The strap is unpadded for a flat, straightforward profile. Cut edges are finished with paint for durability, and triple hand-sewn contrast stitching reinforces its vintage-inspired construction.

Sizing & fit help
Vegetable-tanned saddle leather wears with a firmer, more substantial feel than slim or lightly finished leathers. The material has noticeable body on the wrist and holds its shape, giving the strap a grounded, tactile presence rather than a soft or flexible drape. Over time, it develops character while retaining its underlying structure.
The two-piece layout creates a stable, supportive wrap that keeps the watch centered and secure.
Hirsch length labeling: Hirsch uses M for Short length and L for Regular length on product packaging.

Care & wear
Water exposure: Splash resistant, suitable for light moisture such as hand washing or rain.
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning products, including leather cleaners. For heavier soiling, the strap may be briefly rinsed under running water. Avoid soaking or prolonged exposure to water. Dry with a soft cotton cloth or allow to air dry at room temperature. If the strap becomes damp from perspiration or heat, gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
