Cold War urban camouflage took a different approach than traditional field patterns, shifting toward blocky, high-contrast shapes that could break up outlines against buildings rather than terrain. The Haveston Service BRG draws from the Berlin Brigade scheme developed in the early 1980s, combining muted blue, grey, and brown in a scaled, disruptive layout. The heavier woven construction gives the pattern more presence, with a denser surface that makes the colors read solid rather than soft or blended. Built on a single-pass A2 layout, the strap keeps a streamlined profile while maintaining a reinforced feel, with the sliding keeper keeping the tail neatly in place.
Constructed from a heavy woven nylon with a pronounced texture and a matte finish. The thicker weave gives the strap a more substantial, structured feel compared to standard nylon. Reinforced hole settings and a fortified strap tail add durability, while metal hexagonal keepers provide a secure hold.
