Haveston Service AAF OD-41 Nylon Watch Strap
Classic OD41 olive nylon with aviation-style rivets and hardware.
AAF, an original Haveston product design, incorporates both ground and air (Army and Air Force) design elements. Olive Drab 41 was introduced in 1940 as a standard finish for U.S. vehicles and aircraft, and it became the defining mid-war military green. Haveston uses that same deep olive tone here, paired with grey stitching that keeps the look restrained. The color works naturally with the strap’s aviation details, including the tapered nylon body, engraved rivets, and roller buckle.
Material & feel
onstructed from woven nylon with a visible, slightly coarse texture and a matte finish. Reinforced hole settings are backed for durability, and the strap is fitted with engraved metal rivets. The bead-blasted stainless steel roller buckle allows smoother adjustment and reduces wear at the holes.

About the brand
Haveston is a British strap maker built around a clear point of reference: the kind of equipment issued to be used, not admired. Its designs draw from vintage military and industrial gear, where materials, construction, and layout were shaped by function first.
The brand takes cues from historical use across aviation, space exploration, and military service. That influence shows up in the details, from single-pass layouts to hook-and-loop closures and straightforward two-piece straps. The result is a range focused on durability, simplicity, and the same practical character found in the original equipment.
