During Apollo missions, loss of signal marked periods when communication with Earth was temporarily interrupted, most notably during re-entry or when passing behind the moon. The Haveston IVA series L.O.S. takes that concept and translates it into a restrained, low-visibility design, with a fully blacked-out surface and a subdued grey mission patch symbol. The dense weave and minimal contrast reflect the idea of reduced visibility and signal absence, while the printed issue markings maintain the connection to equipment labeling used on mission gear. The overall result is stark and technical, aligning with instrument-focused watches and darker case finishes.
Nylon exterior with integrated hook-and-loop lining. The strap uses a reinforced layered build with full-length webbing support, giving it a structured and slightly rigid feel. The surface is densely woven with a matte finish. A bead-blasted stainless steel hoop buckle and a rubber locking keeper provide secure fastening.

IVA’s one-piece configuration threads behind the watch, helping keep it secured if a spring bar fails. The hook-and-loop closure provides continuous micro-adjustment rather than fixed sizing holes, and the extended design offers an additional 50mm of usable length when needed. The layered construction creates a higher profile than standard pass-through straps and may feel more substantial on thicker watches.

Can get wet, handles regular water exposure but will absorb moisture. Allow it to dry fully after use.
To protect surface-applied markings, avoid machine washing, abrasives and high heat. Rinse with lukewarm water as needed. Mild soap may be used. Allow to air dry fully. Markings may fade with use or repeated abrasion during installation, especially if the bar-to-case clearance is tight.
