Spaceflight tool straps developed during the Apollo era were built for function first, using wide, secure closures that could be operated easily in gloves while keeping equipment fixed in place. The Haveston IVA Beta White draws from those original configurations, pairing a stark white outer surface with black backing in reference to Beta cloth suits and high-contrast mission hardware. The clean, monochrome layout and printed issue markings reinforce that equipment-driven origin, giving it a distinctly technical character that aligns with instrument watches, pilot chronographs, and purpose-built dive cases.
Nylon exterior with integrated hook-and-loop lining. The strap uses a reinforced multi-layer build with full-length webbing reinforcement, giving it a structured, slightly rigid feel compared to standard fabric straps. The surface has a fine woven texture with a matte finish. A bead-blasted stainless steel hoop buckle and a rubber locking keeper provide secure fastening.

IVA’s one-piece configuration threads behind the watch, helping keep it secured if a spring bar fails. The hook-and-loop closure provides continuous micro-adjustment rather than fixed sizing holes, and the extended design offers an additional 50mm of usable length when needed. The layered construction creates a higher profile than standard pass-through straps and may feel more substantial on thicker watches.

To protect surface-applied markings, avoid machine washing, abrasives and high heat. Rinse with lukewarm water as needed. Mild soap may be used. Allow to air dry fully. Markings may fade with use or repeated abrasion during installation, especially if the bar-to-case clearance is tight.
