First issued in 1941, the M1942 HBT uniform introduced a reversible camouflage with distinct “jungle” and “beach” sides, developed for U.S. Marine use in the Pacific. The Haveston P-42C draws from the jungle-facing pattern, carrying over the irregular green and brown shapes set against a pale base, designed to break up outlines in dense vegetation. That same disruptive layout appears here in a scaled canvas format, with a scattered, high-contrast pattern that reads immediately as mid-century field camouflage. A subtle repeating “H” motif is integrated into the print, referencing the USMC EGA markings found on original HBT garments.
Canvas construction with a printed camouflage surface and a matte, non-coated finish. The material has a lightly textured weave with moderate flexibility. Edges are stitched for structure, and the strap is fitted with a brushed stainless steel buckle. Quick-release spring bars are integrated for tool-free changes.

Clean with a damp cloth or hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap as needed. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry fully. Avoid machine washing and high heat.
