Haveston Canvas Series M-1944C Watch Strap
OD #7 olive canvas based on 1944 field equipment.
Introduced during the later years of World War II, OD #7 replaced earlier khaki tones with a darker olive intended for improved field concealment, and Haveston's M-1944C strap carries that shift directly into its color and texture. The muted green reads dense and subdued, with a coarse canvas weave that mirrors the rugged materials used across 1944-issued equipment. The deeper tone pairs naturally with bead-blasted cases, parkerized finishes, and mid-century military watch designs.
Material & feel
Constructed from 1.5mm double-layer heavy weave cotton canvas. The material has a firm, slightly coarse texture with a matte, non-coated surface. The layered build provides structure while remaining flexible. Edges are folded and stitched for durability, and the strap is finished with a stainless steel buckle and a floating keeper.

Fit guidance
Haveston Canvas Series straps use a one-piece layout with a secondary floating keeper that manages excess strap length without a full fold-back. This creates a lower-profile fit than traditional military G10 layouts.

About the brand
Haveston is a British strap maker built around a clear point of reference: the kind of equipment issued to be used, not admired. Its designs draw from vintage military and industrial gear, where materials, construction, and layout were shaped by function first.
The brand takes cues from historical use across aviation, space exploration, and military service. That influence shows up in the details, from single-pass layouts to hook-and-loop closures and straightforward two-piece straps. The result is a range focused on durability, simplicity, and the same practical character found in the original equipment.
