Ordered a Hadley-Roma chestnut strap for a gold 1962 CYMA navystar watch. Paid the order but forgot to order the gold buckle. Emailed Mike who emailed me a PAYPAL invoice straight away. Parcel turned up in regional Victoria Australia in just one week which I thought was just fantastic. Mike was great and replied to my emails prompty - excellent service and a quality srap. Very happy.
17mm is one of the most common sizes for mid-century watches but unfortunately it's nearly impossible to find anything in that size. I'm grateful this company is making these straps in those sizes. The oiled leather has a very quick break-in period, is comfortable and will surely age well. It's not exactly the color I hoped but certainly close enough to what was pictured for me to take issue.

I've been buying Hadley-Roma watch straps for my Breitling for 25 years. They are equal in quality to my original watch strap, look just as nice; and at a fraction of the cost of a replacement Breitling leather strap. When I bought my Tag Heuer a few years ago, I switched out the bracelet for another Hadley-Roma strap. I prefer the comfort, styling, and look of leather straps over bracelets; and HR delivers a durable, attractive product.

The short length is sized so perfectly for my 6" wrist. It buckles in the middle punch hole. For a clean look, I even removed the second loop because it no longer serves a purpose.

I have an old Seiko and it needed a band that just wasnt as wide as today's watches have. I found this one online and I think it looks amazing with my old Seiko

A friend recommended Holben’s as a great alternative to high quality leather straps for dress watches and they were right. They are my go-to straps when changing my straps for my dress watches for work and special events. The quality and aesthetics of the strap are also superb and top notch.
Hadley-Roma makes fantastic straps. I bought straps for 150 dollars and the Hadley-Roma for under 20 dollars has better craftsmanship.

Great product and looks great on my 1960’s Baylor Automatic Watch. I wear the watch a lot, new band, buckle, and pins all worked seamlessly. I have more watches that need bands and I know where to go now!
First of all, I need to say that I'm extremely pleased with Holben's and that I highly recommend them! However I must say, I am indeed disappointed with this purchase. I was expecting a solid leather strap, but it turns out that the strap is only top-grain glued to some kind of polyester padding. (including most importantly, the part of the strap that goes around the spring bar.) The leather is so thin that when I accidentally touched it with my strap tool, it left a permanent gash. I'm pleased that it is indeed leather, but this is a very delicate, thin layer of leather that will not stand the test of time. If you're going to be gentle, go for it. If you find it difficult to be careful with your watch, you'll be better off with a different strap.
I appreciate the kind words about your experience with us. This model uses a thin leather top layer over a padded construction, which keeps the profile lighter but can feel more delicate than thicker, full-grain builds. It’s intended more for dress wear than heavier daily use. It's helpful to have your perspective.
Nice look, nice feel, but it's completely falling apart after about 1.5 years of wearing it daily. I'm not gentle with it but it feels a bit early to be wearing out.

Was looking for a dark brown, padded leather strap for my Seiko SNK809, and this oil-tanned leather strap from Hadley Roma fit the bill perfectly. I bought this band for my Seiko LM and it's great. Not too bulky and comfortable on the wrist.
