The beads of rice (a.k.a. grains of rice) bracelet is one of those quintessential watch accessories that belongs in every collection. Once made by Jacoby-Bender in the mid-twentieth century, the beads of rice bracelet was provided with some of the most storied watches of all time (i.e., Patek Philippe chronographs). Its subtle elegance completely transforms the look and feel of your watch over a typical leather strap. It's great with virtually any vintage watch, and works equally well with contemporary dress or crossover dress/sport watches. Forstner's 9-Row Beads of Rice bracelet recreates the look of the vintage JB beads of rice, with some key updates.

Material:

Solid 316L stainless steel.
Beautiful finish (alternating polished and brushed stainless steel) flows from the clasp through the beads to the end pieces.

Sizing:

Available in 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm and 22mm.
Links are 3mm thick.
Links are removable (via single screw system).
Length may also be adjusted in micro-increments via the clasp.
Fits wrists approximately 5" - 8-1/4".
Central "beads" section is 18mm for all sizes.
End pieces are fixed (not removable).

Includes:

Spring bars.
Screwdriver for size adjustment.

Q: Are spring bars available?
A: Yes, for each strap that is not already integrated with quick-release spring bars, we include one free pair of strong, seamless double-flange stainless steel bars.

Q: What strap size do I need?
A: To determine your size, use a metric ruler to measure the internal distance (in millimeters) between the lugs of your watch.

Returns & Exchanges

Holben's accepts returns of unworn, undamaged watch straps or accessories for refund or exchange within thirty days of purchase. (To ensure that items remain in original condition, please confirm suitability before fastening to your watch or wrist.)

All product packaging (bags, tags, cases, etc.) must be unaltered and returned with each item. Items without original packaging will be refused. Items that have been worn, resized, damaged or otherwise modified (including exposure to cologne, tobacco smoke, household air fresheners or other odors) will not be accepted.

Orders must be packed in a padded envelope or small box, and shipped via USPS with delivery confirmation. (Couriers such as DHL and UPS will not deliver to PO boxes.)

Old School cool

Awesome old school bracelet compliments my Hamilton Jazzmaster perfectly. As always, Holben’s offers competitive pricing, fast shipping and great customer service when you need it.

Classic Look for

The Forstner BOR is very comfortable and has a classic look that goes great (imo) with my Oris Big Crown Pointer Date. Easy to adjust the length and the clasp does the job without adding excess weight. This 9 row is a good fit with the 20 mm lug width. And the shipping was fast as well.

9-Link is the one to get!

I own both the 7-link and the new 9-link Forstner bead-of-rice bracelets. The 9-link retain the great looks but better match watches with 20mm or greater lug spacing. Both beautiful!
I waited for this bracelet to return in stock, because I appreciate Holben's top notch price and service!

Superb Look Makes Vintage Pop!

I recently acquired an early 1950s Mido Multi Centerchrono. Being vintage, some would consider it small at 35mm, but the real challenge was finding an appropriate bracelet in a 19mm width with a vintage vibe. Enter Holben’s, and the Forstner/JB Champion portfolio of new bracelets based on old favorites.
Research revealed the watch in old photos sporting a beads-of-rice bracelet with nine rows of “beads.” True to the vintage vibe, Forstner not only had a similar bracelet, but had the somewhat difficult-to-find 19mm ends. Placed my order and received it just a couple days later (Holben’s and I are both near the West Coast of U.S.A.).
When I saw the bracelet on the watch, it was perfect! Thanks to Holben’s for coming through AGAIN with a perfect match. Highly recommended!

BEAUTIFUL BAND

This is very comfortable and looks great on any type of a vintage looking watch. I've tried it on a few and they all look like the band was made for them. I have at least 15 very nice bands I've purchased from Holben's and their prices and service is great.
