Although another reviewer denigrated this band for the tabs not being stitched down like the similar Eulit model, the folded tab allows the band to be used with a fixed lug, which is an attribute, not a disadvantage. The Eulit strap only works with removable spring bars.

I had been wearing this on a tan Fluco Vigo Cuff strap the last several years, and I decided I wanted to try a change. I ordered the black strap, and I'm absolutely excited about the look. I have a collection of mechanical timepieces and haven't taken this one off all week! With a black t-shirt, it is now a bad ass 1970's look.
I don't know why it took me so long to review this cuff-style watch band. I ordered and received mine in August of 2023 to wear with my Shinola Gomelsky Moonphase watch. The original strap and a subsequent replacement strap had both worn out rather quickly, so I needed something sturdy. I really liked the look of this cuff but I was hesitant only because I'm a woman and thought it might look too heavy and masculine on me. I am glad I decided to go ahead and get it. I think it complements my watch very well, and the cuff makes it work as a sporty kind of bracelet/accessory also. It was a bit fiddly to get the rivets in but not too much. I wear it often and it is comfy. What is amazing to me is that 2.5 years later, it still looks new! I love it and am a very happy customer.
First off this is made well the the leather is soft and it does have 2 loops where as the Eulit only has one but these loops are much thinner and a bit flimsy. My issue is this comes ones size where as the Eulit has convertible lugs and fits 18mm, 20mm, 22mm or 24mm lugs with included screw-down leather tabs. This creates an immense value. I would only say get this if you need brown but if you want black get the Eulit cuff strap on this site only 8 bucks more. Also the leather lugs for the Fluco Vigo are just flapped and the Eulit they are stitched on the side and at the pin I think this is far more secure.
Thanks for the detailed comparison. The Vigo is built as a fixed-width cuff for a specific lug size, rather than a convertible design with interchangeable tabs, so it’s a different approach. The keepers and lug construction are also simpler, which can come across differently depending on what you’re comparing it to. It’s helpful to have your perspective.
I absolutely love this strap, so much so that I own four of them! Two of them have soviet watches, one has an A-11 on it, and one has my Belforte on it. I’ve worn these straps every day for the past four years and I have not been let down once by them! They are an extremely durable strap and are also very stylish and comfortable. All for a great price! Pictured below are my Belforte (my every day watch for years) and my 1943 Bulova A-11.
I'm old enough to remember that men wore fat leather straps like these when George McGovern ran for president and ladies had enormous flowers on their dresses. I desperately wanted to be Steve McQueen, but alas, that role had been taken. All that was left for me was to try to butch up my sad little Timex with a butch bund strap and hope it would pass.
This strap brings those memories roaring back, and it makes my mid-70s Seiko look like it's been hermetically sealed in a time capsule for decades. The secret is, the quality of its leather and construction is far better than you or I had 40 or 50 years ago.
Easy to fit and comfortable to wear. Good affordable alternative to the more expensive leather watch cuffs on the market.
I liked my first one so much, I purchased three more. Do yourself a favor and get one. It is comfortable, well-made, supple, and a cinque to put on. These type of straps are hard to find, so don’t hesitate if this is the look you’re after.
My Seiko Alpinist looks and feels great with this affordable high quality leather Fluco Bund strap, highly recommended.
Well, I took the strap to a guy I know who sells custom leather goods and he made a good strap even better by installing a snap, and removing the cumbersome buckle. Now I have a watch strap that fits perfectly, and no fiddling with threating a thick strap through a massive buckle and a tiny keeper.
First the good. It is a well made strap. Leather seems to be good quality, and thick. Yet it is comfortable and not at all stiff as you sometimes see with cheaper brands. The tab system works very well and gives me a feeling of security that my watch isn't going anywhere. My new Junkers chronograph looks great on the wrist with the Fluco Bund style strap. It could be a bit longer but so long as I can get it on my wrist, I am not complaining.
So why only 4 stars instead of 5? Well, the giant buckle is a little flimsy, and it is a bit unwieldy getting that huge, thick strap through the buckle, and the keepers are small and flimsy for such a thick, wide strap. What would I suggest? Well, if you tapered the strap down a little and put a 24 or even a 26mm buckle on, it would be better.
Even better would be to come up with something even more elegant, like a snap type closure, maybe with several holes to adjust the fit.
I needed a band for my Pobeda Red 12, a small watch (32mm). It was on a one piece leather strap which was just OK. The watch has fixed bars, which really narrows down the possibilities. Came across Bund straps and decided to take a chance on the Fluco Vigo Brown. Am I glad I did! It is one of, if not the, nicest and most comfortable straps I've ever owned. Soft and flexible immediately, no breaking in period. Really well made. Looks retro cool. As a bonus still has that leather smell (if you put it up to your nose). I am definitely a fan and will be getting another one - probably in tan - for my green dial vintage Vostok.
I wasn't happy with regular straps for my Strela Cosmos Chronograph. I'd gotten used to wearing my Seiko Turtle, which is 44mm, but felt like a change. My Strela is only 40mm, and looked puny and wimpy on my wrist after the Seiko. And it has long lugs, which doesn't help. Anyway, I went on the hunt for a bund strap, which led me to the Fluco cuff strap. I like the idea of the bund, but it seems kind of clumsy, in a way. So I looked at as many shots of the Fluco cuff that I could, and decided to take a risk. I wasn't disappointed. It really looks cool, and is so comfortable. No breaking in, either. The calf leather is super soft and supple right out of the pouch. I did have to use the last holes on the cuff for my Strela since the lugs are so long (right at the max of 48mm in the description), but the watch fits perfectly and is stable on the cuff. I highly recommend it!
The leather is thick and sturdy yet supple. It has various holes to accomodate a number of watch lengths. It works well with both large diameter as well as small diameter watches. I'm using it on a 30mm Bulova A-11. The strap holds the watch safely while also carrying an aesthetic. I also like that the leather protects the back of the watch and the engravings from perspiration,etc. It's perfect for this 75 year old watch. I'm thinking about getting the same band for my modern Damasko DS30 (39mm diameter).
I used this band to replace the canvas band on my Citizen Watches Mens AT0200-05E Eco-Drive Chronograph Canvas Watch which I also purchased on Amazon. Let me say, that I loved that watch. I bought it as a gift for myself when I graduated Basic Training, and though it matched well as a watch to wear in uniform. By the time I got out of the Army the watch was still going strong, but the original canvas band had seen better days. I never really loved the band that came with the watch anyway, so I started looking for a better option. That's when I found this band. I love it. I've been wearing it for three years now, and the band has held up well. It is leather, and I wear this as a daily watch, so it has some staining and things from wearing out fishing and getting it wet, etc., but it has been a great band. When this one wears out I'll buy another one. The only place I've really seen wear on the watch after three years is on the underside of the watch on the excess part of the band, and on the leather loops that keep the excess leather from flapping around, which you can see in the photos. I've never even bothered to condition or treat the leather, which would probably help it last longer.
I got this strap to fit an odd sized 46mm diver's style watch. The watch came with a 26mm wide strap that only fits 14mm lugs. To retrofit another strap I needed something simultaneously wide and narrow. This one really fits the bill, being 30mm wide, but mounting to 14mm lubs. Perfect! But don't take my word for it, see the attached photos.

Absolutely LOVE this strap. So comfortable as soon as I mounted a watch to it and strapped it on. Totally would recommend this strap and am already considering buying from this company again.
Like what others say, the band is surprisingly flexible and comfortable. I bought a women's 30mm Timex Easy Reader with a pretty terrible looking band (but it was on sale and the watch face was just what I needed) and the Fluco band made it go from granny watch to retro cool.
