Built with IWC and other pilot watches in mind, this strap has a squared-off shape and a substantial feel that stands up to larger cases. Handmade in Germany, the embossed surface has a fine, linen-like texture, while the coated leather resists moisture and holds its shape over time. The Fluco Pilot suits larger pieces where a broader, more structured strap looks right.

Material & feel

Cowhide leather sourced from Germany, finished with a patented water-resistant coating. The embossed surface has a fine, textile-like pattern with a slightly structured feel.

Edges are painted, sanded and polished several times by hand. Stitching is reinforced with double stitching at the lugs and bartack stitching at the buckle. A reinforced leather insert is integrated within the strap for added structure. Lined with leather that is water-resistant and hypoallergenic.

Wear & care

Can get wet, handles regular water exposure but will absorb moisture. Allow it to dry fully after use.

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use leather cleaners or conditioners. Handles water exposure but is not intended for repeated swimming. Allow to air dry fully after use.

Founded in 1952, Fluco is a third-generation family-owned strap maker based in Furth im Wald in Germany’s Bavarian Forest. The company produces leather and textile watch straps in-house in Germany, works with carefully selected tanneries, and pairs its straps with German-made buckles. Fluco’s designs tend to favor clean lines and solid materials over decorative flourishes.

Great strap, totally changed my Spirit

Put this on my Longines Spirit and honestly it looks like a different watch. I'd gotten a little bored of it on the NATO strap but the olive green with the brown stitching just works with the black dial. Has kind of an IWC pilot watch vibe now, which is funny considering what the strap cost. There's a short break-in period before the leather softens up but nothing bad, and the buckle is nice quality too. Very happy with this one, would order from Holben's again.

Ordered this in February 2026. This watch band is very comfortable, and the olive green color goes well with my IWC Pilot Spitfire. However, the 20 mm width is not exactly that, it is slightly wider. I have to trim it down a bit to fit inside the lugs. Once trimmed, the quick release mechanism is easy to install. Overall, I am happy with the Fluco Pilot leather watch strap.

Ordered this watchband for my Tudor Black Bay GMT Pepsi. I had the bracelet on it for the last few years, but this leather watchband gives it a whole different look and wears so much lighter. It’s almost like getting another watch. Very happy with the new look.

Great pilot leather strap

I ordered this strap for my Brequet Type XX chronograph. It has 21mm lug width and it’s not easy to find a quality strap of this size. As always with Holben’s products I was not disappointed. Very well-made robust, but soft good looking textured leather strap. Five stars, highly recommended!
