Built with IWC and other pilot watches in mind, this strap has a squared-off shape and a substantial feel that stands up to larger cases. Handmade in Germany, the embossed surface has a fine, linen-like texture, while the coated leather resists moisture and holds its shape over time. The Fluco Pilot suits larger pieces where a broader, more structured strap looks right.

Material & feel

Cowhide leather sourced from Germany, finished with a patented water-resistant coating. The embossed surface has a fine, textile-like pattern with a slightly structured feel.

Edges are painted, sanded and polished several times by hand. Stitching is reinforced with double stitching at the lugs and bartack stitching at the buckle. A reinforced leather insert is integrated within the strap for added structure. Lined with leather that is water-resistant and hypoallergenic.

Wear & care

Can get wet, handles regular water exposure but will absorb moisture. Allow it to dry fully after use.

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use leather cleaners or conditioners. Handles water exposure but is not intended for repeated swimming. Allow to air dry fully after use.

Founded in 1952, Fluco is a third-generation family-owned strap maker based in Furth im Wald in Germany’s Bavarian Forest. The company produces leather and textile watch straps in-house in Germany, works with carefully selected tanneries, and pairs its straps with German-made buckles. Fluco’s designs tend to favor clean lines and solid materials over decorative flourishes.
