Located in Germany's Bavarian Forest, Fluco manufactures 100% in-house at its headquarters in the town of Furth im Wald. Owner Ulrich Fleischmann represents the third generation of his family to lead the company that his grandfather founded more than 70 years ago, producing handmade watch straps of the highest quality for men and women.
Fluco carefully vets every partner they collaborate with. They work only with tanneries that produce ecologically and ethically responsible leather, complying with the strictest regulations to ensure environmental safety and exercising verifiable control from the origin of the raw material to the end product. Fluco's buckles are made entirely in Germany, at a traditional company in Baden Württemberg that tasks itself with producing premium clasps for watch straps.
Fluco's Pigskin strap is handmade in Germany using fine pigskin with a soft, smooth finish. This strap is untapered, meaning that it is the same width at the buckle and lug ends. The Pigskin is accentuated with fine all-round tone-on-tone stitching, and the last stitch at each end is double-sewn. At just 2mm thick throughout, it has a slim, minimal profile for an elegant look. The lining leather is hypoallergenic.

This is my second or third purchase from Holben’s and I’m very happy. This pigskin band is so supple and comfortable and the brown color is really nice. It looks great on my 1948 Bulova. It adds a classic look like the watch came that way. I’ve tried other bands and they just don’t compare.
My favorite strap. The pigskin doesn't seem to stretch out like a lot of other watch bands do and it's easy to put on. Best of all it's super comfy.
I have Fluco watch straps on five of my watches, including the Bulova Mil Ship shown here. The quality of the Fluco straps is absolutely exceptional. I look at much more expensive leather straps and always come back to believing that for me, Fluco straps are superb and a true buy. Plus, Holben's has been a pleasure to deal with. I will be back!
