Located in Germany's Bavarian Forest, Fluco manufactures 100% in-house at its headquarters in the town of Furth im Wald. Owner Ulrich Fleischmann represents the third generation of his family to lead the company that his grandfather founded more than 70 years ago, producing handmade watch straps of the highest quality for men and women.
Fluco carefully vets every partner they collaborate with. They work only with tanneries that produce ecologically and ethically responsible leather, complying with the strictest regulations to ensure environmental safety and exercising verifiable control from the origin of the raw material to the end product. Fluco's buckles are made entirely in Germany, at a traditional company in Baden Württemberg that tasks itself with producing premium clasps for watch straps.
The Nautilus is a robust cowhide leather strap with a patented waterproof coating, handmade in Germany by Fluco. The linen-like structure of the embossing gives the Nautilus a distinctive look. Each edge of this strap has been painted, sanded and polished several times by hand. The ends of the stitching seams are double sewn, as are the bar tacks at the buckle end. On the inside, a waterproof leather insert provides structural reinforcement. The lining leather, sourced from within Germany, is waterproof and hypoallergenic.

I gave this strap as a gift and the recipient really liked it! It’s a great strap for when you want a nice leather option that can still get wet. Looked great on his Tissot when he showed it to me!

I am satisfied with the quality and the thickness. I was worried that it would be too stiff but it was soft enough for me.
