Built to handle water without fuss, the Nautilus features a coated leather that resists moisture and holds its shape. The linen-like embossing adds a subtle surface texture, and the slightly thicker build gives it some presence. Handmade in Germany, it works on sport watches and everyday pieces where durability matters.

Material & feel

Cowhide leather sourced from Germany. The embossed surface has a fine, textile-like pattern with a slightly structured feel.

Edges are painted, sanded and polished several times by hand. Stitching is reinforced with double seams at the ends and bartack stitching at the buckle. A water-resistant leather insert is integrated within the strap for added structure. Hypoallergenic lining.

Wear & care

Can get wet, handles regular water exposure but will absorb moisture. Allow it to dry fully after use.

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use leather cleaners or conditioners. Handles water exposure but is not intended for repeated swimming. Allow to air dry fully after use.

Founded in 1952, Fluco is a third-generation family-owned strap maker based in Furth im Wald in Germany’s Bavarian Forest. The company produces leather and textile watch straps in-house in Germany, works with carefully selected tanneries, and pairs its straps with German-made buckles. Fluco’s designs tend to favor clean lines and solid materials over decorative flourishes.
