Italian nubuck cowhide strap, made in Germany.
The Fluco Mountain Bear has a soft, matte surface that brings out the texture of the leather without adding shine. Handmade in Germany from nubuck cowhide, the fine nap and subtle texture complement dress watches, minimal designs, and simpler vintage pieces.
Material & feel
Nubuck cowhide sourced from Italy, produced by sanding the full-grain surface to create a fine nap. The leather has a soft feel with a matte finish and is treated to be water-repellent while remaining breathable.
Edges are painted, sanded and polished several times by hand. Stitching is reinforced with double stitching at the ends and buckle. A glass fiber layer is integrated within the strap to help resist tearing and shrinking. Lined with leather from France that is water-repellent and hypoallergenic.

Splash only, avoid soaking and prolonged water exposure.
Avoid prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Clean with a dry, soft brush or cloth. Do not use leather cleaners or conditioners. If damp, allow the strap to air dry naturally.

Founded in 1952, Fluco is a third-generation family-owned strap maker based in Furth im Wald in Germany’s Bavarian Forest. The company produces leather and textile watch straps in-house in Germany, works with carefully selected tanneries, and pairs its straps with German-made buckles. Fluco’s designs tend to favor clean lines and solid materials over decorative flourishes.
