First time trying a single-fold deployant (I have a butterfly-fold on my other Hirsch strap), and this one feels comfortable. I do not notice a huge difference in terms of security over the butterfly clasp (that uses buttons to open the clasp), but I love the gentle curve of this single-fold and how I don't need to pull on the strap to open it up. simple, unobtrusive, solidly build, and they stay shut. IMO, better than the push button butterfly, which sometimes opens when my wrist hits the button inadvertantly. But not the fluco single deployant.
I have a bunch of these, along with similar ones from HR,, Debeer, and some generic ones, Fluco are the best overall. the only caveat being, on really thin straps, HR are better. But on thicker straps, Fluco are the way to go.
You can see in the pics, the same Fluco on a Barton sailcloth, and on a Rios pilot strap. Works equally well on both.
There might be a better deployant out there, but not for $20.
Fluco makes some of the best clasps available. I've been impressed with their butterfly clasp and want to try this fold over. Great materials and finishing.
If you like deployant clasps, this is a nice upgrade from a quick release. Shown on the Hirsch Pure Rubber strap. And thanks for the advice and quick shipping!

I am very impressed with this Fluco clasp. The build quality to excellent and the polish is crisp and clean. I chose this clasp because it is very similar to the OEM for my Daniel JeanRichard fold over clasp, and this one does not have any branding, which, if I am not able to have the OEM branding, I prefer to have it unbranded. I picked up another for different watch, and will probably pick up more once they are back in stock.

Fits my bonetto cinturini 315 22mm strap just fine,on the very first hole position. Clasp is well made and reasonably priced. First time trying a flip style clasp and it's comfortable. Wish they had a brushed look in stock... But no complaints here and thank you very much Holbens!!
This clasp is solidly made and is easy to use. It's very minimal and doesn't add a lot of bulk. I appreciate that it comes with a thick spring bar. It gives me more peace of mind when using it. I wish it came in brushed stainless steel as well.

Spent a long time looking for a quality single fold deployant clasp. This Fluco fit the bill perfectly! Size and fit is great, very slim, and even without a trigger, the deployment is very secure. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a deployant for a dress watch on a fine strap. Fast and reliable service from Holbens!
This clasp makes the watch strap look classier. High quality and not flimsy at all. Expect this to last a very long time. Easy to install on the strap and goes on without any issues. Will purchase more of this later on put on my other watches.
Changed out the tang buckle on my new strap because the strap with the tang buckle was either too loose or too tight on my wrist. The deployment solved that issue and now the strap fits as it should. Also, the clasp is secure and looks nice.
This is a quality product. The finish is well polished and the action feels solid and sturdy.
I recently bought this clasp in both the 16mm and 18mm options as they were for two different straps. The 16mm option is great and sturdy and everything works as expected. The 18mm one is slightly 'off' and that is reflected in this review rating. the clasp part is sturdy and closes nicely, so no issues there. However, the little part that covers the strap hole is a little flimsy and loose. It is almost coming undone on it's own and does so with very minimal effort. Comparing this to the 16mm one it almost feels like it's produced by two different companies. If I was reviewing just the 16mm clasp it would be 4 stars as its at advertised but still slightly uncomfortable for my wrist. However, the 18mm does not feel the same. For the cost the clasps are nicely finished, and the clasp part is solid and well executed. Factoring in this flimsy part and the comfort not being close to OEM clasps the rating comes down. Still would recommend for a decent and more cost effective OEM alternative!
Thank you for the detailed comparison. The 16mm and 18mm versions are the same design, but the proportions change with size, which can affect how the flip-lock cover feels in use.
I got the clasp installed, but it was unable to fasten properly on my worst. Worked fine off my wrist. Went back the original buckle it came with.

The clasp feels secure even after a few weeks of use, almost brand new. It is definitely higher quality than anything with a similar price from Amazon. The only thing better is the customer service! My order was reviewed by a real person and we fixed a mistake I made. This is a first class company!
