The Fluco Dakkar is a slim strap with a crocodile-embossed pattern that looks convincingly like the real thing. Handmade in Germany, the nubuck surface softens the pattern with a matte, slightly velvety finish. It works well with dress watches and vintage pieces.

Material & feel

Nubuck leather made from full-grain hide, sanded on the surface to create a soft, matte finish with a fine nap. The leather is breathable and treated to be water-repellent, with a supple feel from the start.

Edges are lacquered and sanded several times by hand. Bartack stitching at the buckle is double sewn. Lined with premium Zermatt leather from the Haas Tanneries in France, which is hypoallergenic.

Avoid prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Clean with a dry, soft brush or cloth. Do not use leather cleaners or conditioners. If damp, allow the strap to air dry naturally.

Founded in 1952, Fluco is a third-generation family-owned strap maker based in Furth im Wald in Germany’s Bavarian Forest. The company produces leather and textile watch straps in-house in Germany, works with carefully selected tanneries, and pairs its straps with German-made buckles. Fluco’s designs tend to favor clean lines and solid materials over decorative flourishes.
