I have to be honest about this one, the color is really tough on my eyes. It's more electric blue that what it it shows on the web page or the video it's featured in. Not super different, but page shows just enough gray in the color to tone down the rather "serious" blue. No go, it's all neon, baby. And it looks like a candy coating rather than a dye. I probably would have exchanged it for something else less aggressive, but I wasn't sure I disliked it as much as I do, so I installed it. I had to bend the spring bars due to the case I was working with having a curve in a bad place, so it really wasn't returnable. I'll try to live with it.
Thanks for the honest feedback. The Chiara has a brighter, high-saturation blue finish, which can read more vivid in person than in photos depending on lighting.
So far, this strap is everything I wanted. It's classy, and makes my Orient watch look amazing. Will be looking at Holbert again in the future!
Great color and alligator grain. A bit stiff but with wear it should soften. Fits very well-be exact when measuring!
The band is comfortable and looks great. The product image worried me that it would look plastic-y but that is not the case in person. I like to swap watch bands frequently so the quick release is definitely a much appreciated addition.

Bought the hubby a watch for Christmas which had a metal links band. He doesn't care for those, so I went on the hunt for another band. The watch is a gorgeous sapphire blue with rose gold. This band matches the watch color perfectly and having the available option of the rose gold buckle sold me.

This strap is simply amazing value in the quality per dollar category. The quality is better than most OEM leather straps you get on watches under $500. It is not super stiff when you first put it on and after a couple hours it will soften up very nicely. I have more than a dozen Fluco leather straps in various lug widths and it is my go to company for premium quality leather straps. Mind you it isn’t a luxury level leather strap but for a sub $50 strap it is probably the best quality strap and company I’ve come across. I’d look to Colareb, Hirsch, Di-Modell and the Fluco Horween Shell Cordovan straps if you want luxury quality under $100, however those straps will cost north of $50. I also highly recommend that you buy these straps either from the Holben’s website or Amazon store as they are awesome to work with.
I have been wearing this strap on my Orient Ray II and it really formalizes the entry level affordable diver to look a lot more expensive than it really is. I know, leather on a diver is considered a massive travesty to some people, but hey do what you want if you aren’t going diving with it. I also have the same burgundy croc strap in 20mm and it looks amazing on my Seiko SARD011.
