Fluco has been making watch straps in its German workshop since 1952, and there is a steady, practiced quality to the way these bands come together. The collection sticks to familiar materials such as calfskin, goatskin, pigskin and shell cordovan, with some nylon and canvas options included. The designs stay simple on purpose, using clean cuts and straightforward profiles so the material quality does most of the work. The result is a group of straps with a consistent, grounded character that doesn't lean on extra decoration.
A good example is the Chicago Horween shell cordovan strap, which shows Fluco’s preference for flat shaping and neat, consistent finishing. For an overview of how these materials compare with other strap types, our Ultimate Guide to Watch Strap Materials lays out the basics, and similar pieces appear in our Leather Watch Straps collection.
