The Fluco Biarritz is handmade in Germany with a slim profile that adds just enough surface texture to be noticeable. The goatskin has a natural, marble-like grain that varies from strap to strap, giving it a more organic look than uniform calf. Contrasting stitching frames the edges. Biarritz is a strong match for dress watches and vintage pieces, where a thin strap feels more appropriate.

Material & feel

Genuine goatskin sourced from a French tannery. Finished with painted, sanded, and polished edges, completed by hand. Lined with French calfskin that is water resistant and hypoallergenic.

Ordered for my reverse panda dial Seiko chronograph and I love how it looks. The white stitching matches the subdials well. On my 16cm wrist, it fits at the second to last hole. I like how the holes are spaced closely to get a more accurate fit. I had some other Flucos in this order and they all seem to be good quality, what you'd expect at the price point. The craftsmanship is great but the leather will need some time on the wrist to break in.

Fantastic product and service as usual from Holbens. Love the goatskin leather and fantastic leather smell. Feels broken in and durable on day one. My go to retailer for straps!

This Taupe strap was paired with the Cream coral dial of the Club campus. A playful pastel color which when paired well with beautiful strap like this, just pops so well. Pliable right out of the envelope, and no break in required. I trust Holbens to have a variety of options and I’ll continue to purchase from for my needs.

I put this wonderfully made and beautiful watch strap on my Henry Archer Tidslinje meteorite dial watch. The quality and craftsmanship are better than many luxury OEM brand straps. From choosing from a vast selection, paying ease, shipping with plenty of updates to the speed from order to receiving, this experience was flawless. This was the second strap I purchased in a month as I got a grey sailcloth strap for my Raymond Weil moon phase automatic.

Thank you to everyone at Holben’s Fine Watch Bands for being better that most and better than I expected!

This racing band is perfect. The style and texture are great, it's super comfortable, not too thick but not too thin, and I was able to get a perfect fit on my 6.25 inch wrist. I put it on my 38mm hand-wound chronograph from Merkur and it really elevates it. I will be ordering from Holben's again!

NOT AS ADVERTISED Fluco Biarritz Racing Red Goatskin

I am Disappointed. the strap i received does not look like what's on the picture on this website and it does not look like what other reviewers got. it seems either flucco Changed the way they made the straps and holbens has not updated their picture or the strap is simply not finished.

In the pictures and reviews the strap has a gloss to it. mine is completely mate. The strap i received has black dots within the leather the ones advertised have not. but the worst part for me is the images on holbens and reviewers shows a black edge on the side of the strap which mine have not. mine is just full red. because of this the strap i got does not match well my white speedy. it would've looked better with what others got and what the picture on this website shows

im going to keep the strap because i need a red strap for Christmas but i wont be buying from Fluco again

Hi Arnaud, thanks for the detailed review. You’re right that there was a mismatch at the time between our photos and what Fluco was shipping. They updated the finish on this model, including the edge color and surface sheen, and we hadn’t caught up on the images yet. That’s on us.

The black dots in the leather are part of the natural grain of genuine goatskin, and some variation is normal from strap to strap. We’ve since updated the photos to reflect the current version so it’s clearer what to expect. We appreciate you calling it out.

Fluco Biarritz Grey Goatskin Strap on My Grand Seiko

I recently put the Fluco Grey Goatskin strap on my Grand Seiko, and it has quickly become one of my favorite combinations. The grey tone works beautifully with the sharp lines and polished case of the watch, giving it a versatile and understated look that fits in any setting. The strap feels soft from the start, with no break-in period, and the goatskin has just the right balance of texture and flexibility.

What stands out most is the craftsmanship. The stitching is clean, the fit is precise, and the overall feel is one of real durability. Fluco has amazing quality and will never let you down. Amazon straps don’t hold a candle to this kind of work. It costs more, but it’s 100% worth the money because you’re buying quality that elevates the watch and will last.

A Perfect Match – Fluco Biarritz Green Goatskin Strap on My Nomos Club

I recently paired the Fluco Biarritz Green Goatskin Leather Strap (18mm) with my Nomos Club, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. From the moment I attached it, the strap elevated the entire look of the watch. The green tone is subtle yet distinctive—muted enough to be versatile, but with just enough personality to draw the eye. The natural texture of the goatskin feels soft yet sturdy, giving it an immediate comfort on the wrist without any break-in period.

The craftsmanship is excellent: tight, even stitching in contrasting white complements the Club’s dial design, while the padding and taper give it a refined profile. I especially appreciate how the polished lugs and the silver case harmonize with the cool green strap for a clean, modern aesthetic.

It’s rare to find a strap that enhances both the visual and tactile experience of a watch so perfectly, but the Fluco Biarritz achieves just that. I’d call this pairing an absolute win.

Supple, flexible, of quality leather

I’ve been trusting Fluco to make decent priced and quality straps for a while now. So when my mothers watch needed a new pair.. I didn’t think twice to pick another up from Holbens/Fluco. I can tell this strap will last a couple years if not more.

More Casual Strap Looks Great

This strap immediately replaced the original dressy black leather band with deployant clasp (no!) on my Orient Star Gothic Heritage automatic. The Whiskey Fluco Biarritz gives the watch a much more casual look and is a perfect addition.

Great Watch Strap in Taupe Color

Purchased this watch strap for my The Citizen and the 19mm fit perfectly. The goatskin leather is extremely supple. After owning the strap for about 6 months, the painted edges have started to show some wear. Overall a big fan of Fluco watch straps.

The Perfect OEM Strap This Company Should Have Chosen

I recently purchased the Lorier Hydra Zulu GMT watch. It has a black PVD case and according to their marketing hype: "Nothing says '80s Action Hero quite like a black tool watch. Just like the movies they were featured in, they were loud, brash, and badass." Try to think of images of Ah-nold, Sly, Jesse The Body Ventura, etc etc.

The watch was delivered on a tailor made 20-16 black rubber Bonetto Cinturini that was a bit too long for my liking (as most rubber diver straps are). The strap is a great match for the watch BUT...I wanted something else. Something "cooler".

After browsing a bit on the Holben website, the Fluco Biarritz Racing in black goatskin leather caught my eyes. I've bought Flucos before from Holben and it's one of my favorite brands. One reason, in addition to the leathers they use and the slight vintage-y vibe they have is the fact that they offer a 118 x 75 strap length which is juuust long enough to fit perfectly comfortable for my 7.5" wrist. Most straps come in 115 x 75 and I've found those to be just a hair too short sometimes.
Bonus was I got to use the Lorier black strap buckle on the Fluco as well!

Been wearing the watch daily now with the Fluco and I am absolutely in love with it. This is my first "micro brand" watch and it is seriously exceeding expectations. "If you have the means, I highly recommend it" (another 80s movie reference).

Perfect for my Chrono Master

A vintage like strap to go with Nivada's new update to the chronomaster sea diver aviator! This watch should have come with a strap like this. Why buy garbage on Amazon when you can get quality from Holbens!

Beautiful blue goatskin strap…

Love the powder blue color….seems well-made as far as stitching and quality of leather, as well as subtle texture…low-key but classy. However, I am still perplexed as to why there is no indication on the underside of the strap that it’s goatskin….just the handmade in Germany…. Would have appreciated that…

Fantastic quality and a perfect fit for my vintage watch

I was looking for a long time for a band that was thin and fine enough for my vintage Longines 22L watch from my grandfather. This band fits the bill! It looks great on there, feels very comfortable, and is perfect for every-day wear. I have small wrists, so the small size option is very much appreciated. It is also a very good value for the quality!

High quality at a great price

I’ve had my eye on the Fluco Biarritz line for several months now. I’ve read several reviews praising the strap and finally decided to order one for myself. Upon arriving I noticed how tidy and well done the stitching is. The leather is beautifully grained, pliable and you can feel the quality once on the wrist. The red racing version that I purchased pairs well with my Nomos Club 703.1 and makes the red hands pop. I will look to add a Navy version down the line. I almost forgot to mention that Fluco sources their leather from the Alran tannery in southern France. As always, Mike shipped the strap quickly and well packed.

Great Strap at a Great Price!

This is a beautiful strap at a very reasonable price. The orange color -- which is a bit hard to find -- looks fantastic with my new Citizen diver with the blue face!

Grey goat strap

Firstly, this is a very good quality strap and worth every penny. It's stiff but only as to keep its form being still comfortable and sure will soften up.

Color grey has a definite blue hue but still very much grey especially in certain lighting. A beautiful color and straight speaks luxury and style.
