Fluco's Alcantara is a 100% vegan strap made from the supple synthetic microfiber textile of the same name. This material is known for its durability, softness and breathability (your strap will be warm in the winter and cool in the summer). Often mistaken for leather, Alcantara closely resembles suede and is lightweight, flexible and comfortable on the wrist. Easily cleaned to maintain its beautiful look and feel, it can be refreshed with a soft brush or damp cloth. Alcantara is committed to sustainability and has maintained its Carbon Neutrality certification since 2009.

Care & wear

Splash resistant, suitable for light moisture such as hand washing or rain.

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth as needed. For light soiling, mild soap may be used sparingly. Avoid soaking, solvents, or alcohol-based cleaners. Allow the strap to air dry completely at room temperature. Do not use heat or machine drying.

Founded in 1952, Fluco is a third-generation family-owned strap maker based in Furth im Wald in Germany’s Bavarian Forest. The company produces leather and textile watch straps in-house in Germany, works with carefully selected tanneries, and pairs its straps with German-made buckles. Fluco’s designs tend to favor clean lines and solid materials over decorative flourishes.
