Perlon watch straps became common on European sport watches in the 1960s and remain associated with vintage divers and field watches today. EULIT has produced woven Perlon straps in Germany for decades and is widely recognized as the leader in the industry. The single-pass Atlantic continues that tradition with a larger open weave that keeps the strap light and allows air to circulate. Because the buckle pin passes between the fibers rather than through fixed holes, the strap can be adjusted to nearly any position for a precise fit.

Material & feel

Perlon is a synthetic fiber known for its strength, lightweight feel and resistance to moisture. EULIT's Perlon straps are also finished with a proprietary surface sealing treatment that helps protect against perspiration and everyday soiling.

Fit guidance

Perlon’s woven construction allows the buckle pin to engage anywhere along the strap for precise sizing across a wide range of wrist sizes. Because the buckle can be repositioned along the weave, fit is determined more by wrist size than by fixed holes. The single-pass layout maintains a thin profile while helping keep the watch secured if a spring bar fails.

My second Eulit strap. The first strap was a panama that i ordered for a lightweight dress watch, then moved onto my everyday Seiko 5. The Atlantic is a lot stiffer and gives a solid feel compared to the lightweight Panama strap. Love these straps and recommend them to everyone.

Good Quality Strap

Comfortable, looks great, feels like good quality. Length, width, and thickness all fit well without any issues. My only complaint is that there are glue stains on the ends of the straps that could have been made to be less noticeable.

Nice strap, great weave

I ordered two Eulit Perlon straps, and this one was quite nice. Good color, dark green and a soft, interesting weave. Worth the price and great strap for summer.

EULIT Perlon Atlantic Navy Blue for my blue faced Hamilton automatic

Big fan of the strap. It looks great, comfy, and helps the dial pop. It runs a little small on my wrist (7") but that's alright. I don't like a lot of tail on my straps anyway. 10/10

EULIT Perlon Atlantic Navy Blue Watch Strap - very pleased

The Perlon band works very well with my 1972 Omega Seamaster 176.007 Jedi blue dial. Super quick delivery and high quality strap. Would definitely recommend and would certainly purchase again.

Room for improvement, but looks good

The navy blue perlon strap looks great with my BB58 blue; but it’s too short, stiff, and the edges have a sharp plastic feel to them. The buckle seems very thin. I’m hoping the strap breaks in and becomes comfortable with some more time.

Best Person Strap You Can Find

I really like the color on this perlon strap and the quality is amazing. My last three perlon straps that I have owned for over a year are still in great shape so I know this one will last me for a while. My only gripe is I wish they offered this color with the other buckle style. Other than that, this strap is amazing and I would buy it again.

Exploring Something New

My new EULIT Atlantic Red Perlon strap is a stunning alternative to the stock NATO that came with my low cost Nixon quartz watch. I've been wearing it for a few days straight now and I'm happy to have it. In addition to what product details you will find in the sales material, I will add that this Nixon is NOT a beater watch so I'll take it off when I'm doing something that may scuff or nick the watch case and crystal. As such, please know that my new strap, though comfortable to wear, has a rigidity that makes taking off and putting on very fast working the pin buckle. See my photo of the setup that has drawn compliments for the joyous color scheme that I successfully envisioned. Lastly, the prompt delivery from Holben's was excellent.

Form & Function

The fit is impeccable because it’s a custom fit with unlimited combinations. The buckle is sturdy, the brushed surface gives it a sophisticated yet understated look. It’s a solid strap that remains solid yet feels soft after its break-in period. I have several colors that easily slide in and out. Bright blue and my Tag is a fun summer sports watch; black or dark green and it transforms into an appropriate watch for a client meeting. When sailing or hiking, if a spring bar gives out, my watch remains safe on my wrist ! These straps are well made with a smart design at a price point that shouts value.

Quality, Comfort, and Price (Thats Nice)

Great comfortable strap. I had originally ordered Palma grey, but ended up exchanging it for Atlantic grey which was slightly more blue. Exchanging was no problem, and now I wonder why I didn’t buy one sooner!

Perlon is so underrated! I couldn't go back to a NATO strap after wearing one of these and the resultant sleeker wrist profile. The thicker double braid weave on the Atlantic (and Palma) provides some texture and gives a great aesthetic. Very nice shade of grey, understated, but not drab. The brushed buckle is well finished. The Atlantic has their larger and stronger gauge buckle combined with the double braid weave - it gives a more rugged vibe, good for a dive watch or field watch. The Palma seems to have the same weave with a smaller polished buckle, ideal for a sports watch or toning down a dress watch. Holben's shipping to Sydney, Australia was efficient.

First of all, the strap looks fantastic, the texture and layers add dimension to the strap which is normally flat. However, that is about where the good ends. It feels kinda plastic to the touch, and because it is nylon, some parts are melted to seal it, and those parts poke into my skin making it very uncomfortable.

Hi Owen, we appreciate the detailed feedback. Perlon does have a firmer, slightly textured feel since it’s a woven nylon, but it shouldn’t be poking or uncomfortable. The sealed ends you’re noticing are part of how the weave is finished, but they shouldn’t feel sharp. If they do, that’s not typical. We would be happy to take a look and get you a replacement or refund if needed. Just reach out and we’ll get it sorted.

Insane color

Love this strap, very comfortable, easy to install, and the color is incredible. It is just large enough for my wrist, but I have large wrists.

Classic Style with Everyday Versatility

Have bought a few of these now and quite happy, hard to find quality perlons. Might be a bit stiff at first, especially for those used to natos but provides a better fit

Classic Style with Everyday Versatility

Definitely better than cheap perlons, hard to find higher quality ones. Lightweight feel and breathable design, perfect for any occasion. The deep navy blue adds a classy touch, and the adjustable fit makes it super practical.

As many other reviewers state: TOO SHORT

I have a medium 7" wrist and this strap barely fits. It's so short I just returned to the website to see if it's offered in a longer length (it isn't). As another reviewer states, charging $32 for a fabric band that is too short in unacceptable. The fabric is well-made and attractive -- but that means little when the strap is so short that you have to cinch it so tight on your wrist that it's uncomfortable or the end slips out of the buckle . NOT happy with this purchase. Seriously wondering if I should take the risk of another purchase from Holben's.

Thanks for the feedback. The Atlantic is a 240mm single-pass strap, designed to fit a wide range of wrist sizes, including a 7' wrist. Fit can depend on how the sliding buckle is positioned along the strap, as that determines how much of the length, including the portion under the buckle, is in use. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

Some Flaws but Nice Overall

This is the first Perlon strap I've purchased, and the results wasn't exactly what I expected. It's more rigid and abrasive than I thought this material would be. That said, the length was easily adjustable, the pattern and colour are very nice, and the material is very lightweight. Like other commenters are saying, the strap is stiff and does not seem to break in well/fast. I'm hoping this will mean its relatively durable as well.

Overall, nice look and tough material, but could be improved.

Love it!

I bought this to replace the standard strap for my Apollo Neuro. I love it! It’s slightly narrower at 22mm, I wanted a 24 mm, but it still works very well, looks nice, and is extremely comfortable. I’m happy!

Disappointingly short

I don't even have wrists you'd consider MEDIUM, and this thing barely fits. Just OK quality, on top of that.

Thanks for the feedback. The Atlantic is a 240mm single-pass strap, designed to fit a wide range of wrist sizes. Fit can depend on how the sliding buckle is positioned along the strap, including drawing on the excess length under the buckle, as that determines how much of the length is in use. We appreciate you sharing your experience.
