Inspired by the classic Marine Nationale watch strap (originally invented by French naval divers to pair with their military-issued Tudor MN watches) and widely regarded as one of the most comfortable all-season straps on the market today, Erika's Originals MN straps are expertly handcrafted by Erika and her team of skilled artisans in Valencia, Spain.
Shown here in green with a yellow centerline, the Vintage model is made from rare, original, new old stock Marine Nationale elastic webbing, likely from 1960s decommissioned parachutes. It's a slightly softer material than other MN straps, with tons of vintage character. Lines are 100% hand stitched using premium European yarns.

I am happy with my Erika's Original straps that I ordered, I purchased 2, and they are both on Hamilton Field watches, excellent products, probably the most comfortable straps I have ever owned. At $118 each, they will be sitting on the shelf a little longer, because some of the other available offerings, while not quite as high quality, their pricing is killing any future business for Erika. She makes the best but charges too much for it.

Erika’s Originals straps are very comfortable and sturdy. They’re a nice heavy-weight elastic that feels sturdy like a NATO, but has a nice bit of stretch and infinite adjustability for maximum comfort. I’ve wasted money trying other inexpensive imitations—they do the job, but the Erika’s straps are so much better. For example, the straps are nice and stiff when adjusting the bezel on a dive watch. Cheaper ones have too much stretch/floppiness and don’t hold the watch down securely when rotating the bezel on my Squale 1521. I highly recommend the Erika’s Originals.
