Designed and made in Europe.

Erika’s Originals MN straps draw inspiration from the elastic straps once associated with the French Marine Nationale, using a woven elastic construction and hook closure instead of a traditional buckle. The textured material and low-profile single-pass layout give them a look closer to vintage military equipment than standard pass-through straps. Over the last decade, they have become exceedingly popular among watch enthusiasts, especially on Tudor divers, vintage Submariners, field watches and other tool watches.
Material & feel
Erika’s Originals MN straps are made from premium European elastic nylon woven with spandex for controlled stretch, long-term durability, and moisture regulation. The material is dyed in Switzerland for color stability and consistent performance during extended wear.
The strap is constructed as a single-pass, rounded-edge, non-fraying endless weave with two finished sides. Traditional weaving techniques, executed on modern looms, create a dense yet flexible structure that maintains its shape over time while evenly supporting heavier watches without pressure points.
The elastic construction maintains consistent resistance over time, preserving comfort and structure without the need for punched holes.
All materials are latex-free and hypoallergenic.

Fit guidance
Erika’s Originals MN straps are designed to be worn snug so the elastic can stabilize the watch while allowing stretch. The integrated sliding clasp allows continuous microadjustment as wrist size changes. Need step-by-step help? See our guide to measuring and installing an Erika’s Originals MN strap.
If your wrist measurement falls near the overlap between sizes, either length may work depending on your preferred tension. A shorter length will feel firmer and more secure, while a longer length offers a slightly more relaxed fit.

About the brand
Erika’s Originals was founded by Erika op den Kelder, a Dutch watch strap maker known for her modern reinterpretation of the historic Marine Nationale elastic strap. The original Marine Nationale design was worn by French naval divers in the 1970s and valued for its secure fit and adaptability in demanding conditions.
Today, Erika’s Originals MN straps are handcrafted by Erika and her team in Valencia, Spain. Each strap reflects a focus on thoughtful design, durable materials, and precise construction, balancing functional heritage with contemporary manufacturing standards.

Awesome band! Super comfortable and exactly as described. This is now my default over NATO straps. Could not be more happy!
Wonderful watch bend. Compliments the color of my Longines and most importantly improves my wearing experience. If you like having the watch sit snug around the wrist but without blocking the blood flow or causing irritation Erika’s original bend is the ticket! The color is very reach navy blue, hardware finish is quality and the size perfect. I’ve got a 6.5 inch wrist and the regular size bend fits great.
I love the Erika's Originals strap with my Tudor FXD. In my opinion they are well worth it! I've tried another elastic strap brand (a very highly rated American company) and they just don't compare to Erika's Originals. Erika's is better in every way...hardware fit and finish, strap material elasticity and look. One thing that doesn't come across in the pics is the premium look of Erika's fabric. There's a depth and complexity to it that really sets it apart!
This is my fourth Erika’s Originals strap, and there’s a good reason I keep coming back. The Mirage MN Yellow Stripe is incredibly comfortable, easy to adjust, and built to a very high standard. It completely changes the personality of my Rolex 116613LN—the yellow stripe picks up the gold accents perfectly and gives it a sporty, understated look. Once again, Erika has delivered a strap that’s every bit as enjoyable to wear as it is to look at. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to give their watch a fresh new character.
Erika’s Originals straps never disappoint! They are without question the best strap for any watch. Supremely comfortable and durable. I chose the black ops with a white stripe to pair with my Tudor Monochrome. It looks fantastic and complements the dial so well. It makes for the best summer time watch while out on the lake, doing yard work, or having a BBQ. Fantastic!
Erika’s is THE BEST mn strap on the market and I’ve tried them all. Holbens does a great job of offering Erika’s strap to American customers. My order was shipped super fast and arrived a lot quicker than expected. I’ll keep buying from Holbens. Thank you!
I picked up another Erika’s Originals MN strap for my two-tone Submariner, this time the navy/trident yellow variant, and I honestly think this might be the perfect match for the 116613LN. The deep navy base tones down some of the flash of the two-tone case, while the yellow center stripe ties directly into the gold accents on the bezel, dial text, and crown. It looks intentional - almost like the strap was designed specifically for this watch.
What surprised me most is how much more balanced the watch feels on wrist compared to the bracelet. The MN design keeps the Sub hugging the wrist securely without that top-heavy feeling two-tone divers can sometimes have. It wears lighter, slimmer, and more relaxed while still looking premium.
The darker colorway also makes the watch incredibly versatile. It works just as well with jeans and a hoodie as it does with something more dressed up. The strap gives the Submariner a slightly military/tool-watch personality without sacrificing the luxury feel that makes the 116613LN special in the first place.
As with my other Erika’s straps, the craftsmanship is top notch. The brushed hardware, tight stitching, and overall finishing all feel extremely refined. Expensive? Yes. Regrettable? Not even slightly.
I paired this mustard stripe Erika’s Originals MN strap with my Rolex 116613LN Submariner, and it completely changed the character of the watch in the best way possible. The olive/denim green with the mustard stripe works surprisingly well with the gold accents on the bezel and crown. It gives the watch a more casual, tool-watch feel without looking cheap or gimmicky.
Comfort is outstanding. I finally understand why these straps have such a loyal following. The elastic material has just enough stretch to stay secure while still being incredibly comfortable for all-day wear. It also keeps the watch centered on the wrist much better than a lot of NATOs I’ve tried.
The hardware and stitching are excellent, and the overall quality feels worth the premium price. Photos online looked good, but it honestly looks even better in person. This definitely won’t be my last Erika’s strap.
I’ve found Erika’s to be the most practical and comfortable daily wear fabric option for tool watch heads. Thanks for stocking these straps!
I picked up the Erika’s Originals Black Ops Yellow MN strap for my Rolex Submariner 116613LN, and honestly, it completely changed how I wear the watch.
I’ve always liked the Sub on the Oyster bracelet, but this strap makes it feel like a totally different piece. It takes some of that weight and flash out of the equation and turns it into something you can just throw on and wear all day without thinking about it. The elastic has just the right amount of give, so it stays snug without ever feeling tight, and the watch doesn’t slide around like it does on cheaper straps.
What surprised me most is how well the yellow stripe ties into the gold on the two-tone Sub. It sounds like it might be too much on paper, but in reality it just works. It picks up the gold accents without trying too hard, and the black keeps everything grounded. It actually makes the watch feel a little more “tool watch” again instead of just jewelry.
Build quality is exactly what people say it is. You can tell right away this isn’t some generic strap, the weave is tight, the hardware feels solid, and everything about it feels like it was made with intention. The adjustability is also a big win. Once you get it dialed in, it’s pretty much perfect, and you don’t deal with the usual “one hole too tight, one hole too loose” problem.
Yeah, it’s not a cheap strap. But after wearing it, I get it. It’s one of those upgrades that actually changes your day-to-day experience with the watch.
For me, this turned my Sub into something I reach for more often, not less. That alone makes it worth it.
Outstanding service and speedy cross-country delivery. Was thrilled when I found out I could get the exact Erika’s Original MN strap I’ve been eyeing with US delivery. Strap has exceeded expectations and become my go-to
Another Erika strap that refuses to let me down. The quality and feel is always superb. It’s a bit more money than what you could spend, but the quality truly makes it worthwhile. The band that I got paired very well with my Mido Ocean Star GMT.
Most comfortable band I have ever worn! The Connery looks fantastic on my submariner… The perfect "Bond "watch.
Product just as described, super fast shipping and great customer service. So much quicker than ordering directly from Erika’s.
This is the second Erica‘s MN strap that I purchased from Holbens in a weeks timeframe. The burgundy color is a little bit more unique and pairs well with a black diver with white indices and reddish accents. Here it is on my Squale Montauk. When the budget allows, I may put it on a Sinn 556 I RS. It’s pretty scary when I’m buying the strap before the watch.
I have recently seen some reviews on YouTube on the Erica‘s original MM strap and was pleased to see that Mike at Holden‘s had it in stock. What I like about it is that it’s not a traditional double layered NATO strap. What I love about it is the elastic which makes for a very comfortable wear. I’m a baby wrister so I was pleased that Holbens had this one in a short length. Here it is on my 38 mm Hamilton Murph.
Very nice material and construction, easy to install and size to your wrist, but the clasp hook attachment is next to impossible on the first 20 or so tries. It just shouldn’t be that difficult. The fact that you have to perfect your hand technique to hook the clasp correctly should indicate a design flaw that could be better addressed. This is by no means a criticism of Holben’s, I will continue to purchase all of my straps from them. Will I buy another Erika’s Originals? Very doubtful
Understood on the clasp. The hook can take a bit of practice at first, but it shouldn’t feel that difficult to engage. It's good to hear that the material and fit worked well otherwise, and we appreciate your continued support.
