The Di-Modell Rallye Wapro Black Contrast Stitch is a really well made, vintage-style rally strap. The leather is soft and the stitching seems durable. I have a collection of vintage Seiko chronographs, and this strap looks terrific with one of my 1970’s chronos. Highly recommended!!
Throwing up a quick review. I wanted to get a leather rally strap for my heuer 64 re-edition. The factory strap tapers from 18mm to 16mm. This makes it a great option for dress attire and for people with smaller wrists, but I wanted a little more wrist presence. This is where the di-Modell comes in. It gives the watch just enough more wrist presence to elevate this watch to daily where status. I still only where this watch on occasion, but it is now fit for any attire. The white stitching is more of a beige than straight white. Be aware of this. I like it just fine personally. I am considering getting the red and all black versions, but those may wait til I’m on less of a budget.
I purchased this strap for my Dan Henry 1964. I really prefer the thicker strap because the watch doesn't slide around too much. Very pleased with the purchase.
I really like the style, construction, and feel of the Di-Modell German made brand of rally watch straps. The leather is top grain and very soft right out of the packaging, easy installation on my watch with my Bergeron micro tool pocket knife. The stainless steel double prong buckle adds security when I wear one of my chronographs that has this excellent band on it. I have to confess, I’ve had very expensive leather bands on my watches that don’t compare to the fit, feel, longevity, or price point of Di-Modell bands! One of which is over eight years old and is currently on my Omega soccer timer. Di-Modell is the perfect band for all my chronographs especially my 1970s Heuer Autavia Viceroy and Omega Soccer Timer . Holbein’s fine watch bands carries many different styles and manufacturers of items for customers to accessorize their grail watch head. Lastly, the price points are very competitive, but it’s the excellent customer service and shipping that always brings me back. Thank you for all the years of service Holbein’s has given to the watch collecting community and myself, and thank you to Di-Modell for the care they take in producing an excellent product time and time again.
I purchased the Rallye Wapro to complement my Omega Seamaster. Looks sharp, and holds its own in terms of quality, comfort, and durability.
The band is extremely comfortable and well made. This will be the new “go to” strap for my vintage chronograph. Highly recommended.
I have an old Tissot PRC200 Quartz Chrono that I don't wear anymore but because of me my daughter's boyfriend is becoming a watch nerd. For Christmas we are going to give him the PRC but we wanted to freshen it up and my daughter chose this Rallye strap and it looks amazing. The watch has been transformed and the quality of the strap, leather, finishing, etc. has exceeded my expectations. This watch is a little tricky in that it's a 19mm lug width but DiModell and Holben had us covered with some beautiful options. This is my third strap from Holben; I continue to be impressed and I'm sure it won't be my last.

This is the 2nd Rallaye strap that I've bought from Holbens. The 1st was a 20mm I got a few years ago and put on a chrono diver. I've used it surfing, ocean swimming, ocean fishing, fresh water swimming, hiking, yardwork, and daily life and it still looks almost new, besides shrinking 1mm in width. The 2nd is 22mm and I expect it to be as durable as the first.
Both are well made, great quality straps that won't disappoint.

It was the look I wanted. Rallye strap on PVD Heuer. Watch originally came with a bracelet, but I think the strap honors the heritage. Quality leather, built to last.
I’ve never used any waterproofed leather and this is a first. It’s pliable and works out of the envelope. I do like the loop that keeps the keeper in place. I wished they came out with more colors/options. I’d buy more for sure!

I bought if for my vintage Wenger, but frankly, this high-quality band deserves a much better watch. How can a 4mm thick calfskin watch strap be so soft, so comfortable, yet so durable and so robust?
I waited before I submitted this review because I wanted to see how it broke in. Simply better than expected. Already it is so comfortable I keep forgetting I have a watch on at all. I was out all day yesterday in mid-90 degree heat and it did breathe better than anything I have ever had and as a "waterproof" band, it did not absorb perspiration like other quality leather bands. Just perfect.
It didn't take me long to appreciate the double-pronged buckle and the keeper anchor.

Top of the line Rallye strap. Excellent workmanship and materials. This one features the double in buckle which really makes a difference in fit and comfort. DiModell makes a great strap at a very reasonable price. Far superior to other similarly priced straps in my experience.
The Rallye strap is the best quality strap of its kind I’ve found. Workmanship is top notch, fit is outstanding and comfort is unrivaled compared with other straps I’ve acquired over time. This is also the most breathable leather strap I’ve encountered. I now own 4 with different color stitching and am installing them on other watches. Very impressed with the refined appearance and comfort of the Rallye, especially considering the accessible price and durability offered. I had been sporting a rubber based strap for an extended stretch. The feel of leather without giving up the water resistance and easy care of a rubber strap has been refreshing. The perforations possibly add to breathability.
