This is my second Di-Modell Pilot strap. When I decided to replace the OEM vintage riveted brown leather strap on my Stowa Flieger Klassik this is the first strap I thought of. And, again, it didn't disappoint. It integrates so well with the watch's style and I much prefer the black over the original distressed brown. Also, I find the subdued white contrast stitching more appealing than the heavy stitching on the many bulkier pilot-style straps I researched. Another bonus reason I chose the Di-Modell Pilot is that I was able to use the Stowa buckle; most other similar straps tapered too much to allow the swap. The only caveat: I have a 7.75" wrist and if the strap length was any shorter it wouldn't fit me. But it's comfortable as-is and I love the look.
Having owned a Damasko with a Di-Modell strap previously, I was familiar with the brand. I was looking for new straps for my Tudor S&G GMT and my Doxa 300 CC edition. The straps are amazing quality and the most comfortable I’ve ever owned. They are also waterproof to 100m so I don’t have to worry much about where or how I use them. Unfortunately, I noticed upon putting one of the straps on, that the buckle was a bit damaged warped (still works fine and I’m not sure what happened) but replacing it is a very low cost fix. I like the straps so much, that I ordered a third (Di-Modell Rallye) for my Omega Seamaster. Can’t wait to put it on!
Reality is often disappointing but not in the case of this strap. I returned a Hirsch Liberty strap that I didn’t care for and picked up this Di Modell. It is awesome in ways the Hirsch wasn’t.
Made in Germany(china for the hirsch), padded but not as thick as the Hirsch and the stitching is nicer.
Fits my Grand Seiko diver Perfectly. Very high quality strap and exceptionally comfortable.
Looks fantastic on my Citizen Pro-Master. Soft leather with enough length for a normal wrist size without being excessively long
So glad I chanced upon this strap. It’s super-duper good; fits perfectly for my Oris Big Crown Propilot 40mm watch. Highly recommend this strap - looks great, feels great and value for money.

Bought this strap for my Tudor Black Bay 41. Very nice leather, compliments the watch well. Di-Modell has outstanding craftsmanship and comfort. This is my second strap from the brand and from Holben's. I am completely satisfied and recommend both, Di-Modell and Holben's. Great value. Strap is dark brown, emphasis on dark. It is barely distinguishable from my black strap. It is much darker than the picture. So be aware of that.
This is absolutely the softest leather band I have ever owned! Looks great on my Vaer diver! I would definitely recommend the Di-Modell Pilot Black Watch Strap!
Very nice product. The brown is quite a bit darker (seems black in low light, but I was ok with this).
Had an initial issue with them sending me the wrong size because the band was mislabeled somewhere along the way (received 20mm and needed 22mm). I contacted them and had a conversation with Mike regarding the issue. After a couple of back and forth emails, Mike offered to overnight a new band and send me a shipping envelope for the incorrect band. Our emails were prompt and he was very nice and professional during our conversation.
I just received the new band and everything is all good with this one.
I have a Samsung Gear S3 Classic and the band itself is really nice. It's thick and widens to match the watch (These are hard to find aside from the band that comes with the Gear S3 Frontier itself). If you're looking for a leather band, this one's it.
It's literally my favorite. I've used the same styled leather on 4 watches now. And now it's on my latest and greatest... Only thing I'd suggest to Di-Modell would be to "integrate" the strap into the lugs (like on the oem omega rubber strap). So like a curved ended strap with extra padding, plus the notch of course 👌. Only option I've found for that idea was for me to order a custom strap that takes 2 months to get to me and would cost ~$500. I'll take this for a 1/10 of that price since they need to be replaced yearly anyways. Please someone from Holben's, ask to get that made!

Been a fan of DiModell for some years now. I replaced my aging Chronissimo (2007) with the Pilot and it does not disappoint. The choice to buy the Pilot instead was intentional and I'm very happy with the decision. It offers the same look with a little less bulk which suits my Sinn 356 SA perfectly. The quality of materials and workmanship is impressive and flawless. I couldn't be more satisfied w/Di-Modell.

I got this Di-Modell pilot strap to go on my San Martin titanium diver. It fits nicely and very snugly and looks great. This very lightweight yet capable watch now disappears on my rather small wrist until I need it. Bravo! I have a Cronissimo as well that I got from Holben's. It has held up very well and works great for a bigger watch. Thanks, C

This strap is of excellent quality, very substantial and very well-made German quality. It goes well with any Flieger style watch. The stitching contrast looks great. It is not cheat in price, but you get what you pay for. Service and shipping from Holben was very good, would buy again from them.

I am not a fan of today's larger watches, compared to my vintage pieces. This strap's 27mm flared ends, provide a balanced appearance for average to small wrists.
I am really impressed by the quality of this band, and the features that make it feel authentic for a flieger watch. Great improvement over the leather that came with my watch from the factory.
I bought this for my Neo 70 Orient Panda Dial watch. With the white stitch on the black leather, it simply make this vintage watch much more attractive.
However, I don’t have a big wrist & using the last hole of the strap. Quality of the leather itself is so smooth & the pricing is really great.
This is my 2nd purchase from Holbein’s & Di-Model really makes great water proof watch straps & since a watch collector, I will certainly be back again to this site. Shipping was great as the 1st time.
