The Chronissimo is one of Di-Modell’s most recognizable sport straps, and for good reason. Built as part of the Air-Ter-Mer Sport collection, it pairs a bold, padded silhouette with leather that feels far more supple than its rugged appearance suggests.

Handmade in Germany with Di-Modell’s waterproof sport construction.
This strap is made from full-grain calfskin with a textured, matte surface that resists shine and disguises wear over time. Despite its substantial build, the leather has a soft, broken-in feel right out of the box.
Underneath, Di-Modell’s patented Aero lining provides a smooth, hypoallergenic surface that resists moisture and helps maintain comfort during extended wear. A built-in leather buckle pad sits beneath the buckle to reduce pressure against the wrist, protect the leather from wear at the tang, and add stability on a thick strap. Di-Modell’s patented red loop anchor holds the floating keeper in place, preventing it from sliding during wear and keeping the strap tail neatly positioned for improved comfort.
Chronissimo is waterproof to 100m, making it one of the few padded leather straps suitable for regular exposure to water and perspiration without sacrificing structure.

Chronissimo straps have a thick, padded profile that adds visual weight and balance, especially on larger cases or sport and pilot-style watches. The construction feels firm at first wear, with enough structure to support heavier watches while breaking in gradually over time.
The brown Chronissimo is offered only in Long length. It's best for larger wrists or those who prefer additional strap length and a more relaxed fit. The lug end flares to 26mm at the case.

Wipe clean with a soft cloth as needed. After exposure to water or heavy perspiration, rinse briefly with clean water, dry with a soft cloth, and allow to air dry completely at room temperature.
Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. While the strap is designed to tolerate regular moisture and sweat, it is best not to leave it submerged for extended periods.
