Di-Modell is a German company famous for its high standard of craftsmanship. Since 1978, they've set the industry standard for quality and attention to detail. Di-Modell watch straps are handmade in Germany from premium leathers.
Part of the Air-Ter-Mer Sport collection, the Chronissimo is one of Di-Modell's most famous straps. Rugged and bold, it is constructed from full grain, surprisingly soft, textured matte calfskin leather. Waterproof to 100m, it features Di-Modell's patented hypoallergenic Aero lining, as well as the company's signature red loop anchor protecting the keeper.
Wondering if the longevity of the Chronissimo holds up to its tough-as-nails appearance? One reviewer notes that his first Chronissimo "has been strapped to my kayak for 23 years, I just bought a new one, the old one was still going strong but I decided to replace it." Case closed.

This is just perfect on a Seiko monster, beautiful. The strap is pretty short however. If you have a large wrist, measure carefully. Since it is German I thought I would be ok as germans tend to be substantial folks and engineer their products accordingly. Im just on the very last hole and it is a real bummer, I have this flap sticking out, so I put the strap on another watch and my wife is using it. Also, I was a bit shocked to see the paperwork that came with the watch suggested REPLACING the strap after 6 -12 months! I don't know if this is wishful marketing but the draw to this product is the perceived durability and that is a pretty disappointing statement.
This is the fourth Di Modell water proof leather strap I have purchased. I take watches with these straps into my pool all the time, the oldest strap (4 yrs) is still looking brand new, even after years of being in the pool.
Great strap for my Sinn 104.Enhances the enjoyment of wearing this watch.Also should work very well on my other pilot watches. The strap is quite thick with the leather padding on the underside and still a bit stiff. In spite of this it is very soft and comfortable. Well worth the price.Will probably order another for another watch soon.Wish the brown came in the regular length as the regular fits me well but the longer length would be too large for my wrist.
