Model 282 builds on the vintage dive styling of the 281, with a longer overall length and a more pronounced wave profile. The tapered shape and slanted tail keep the silhouette period-correct, while the dense perforation pattern adds ventilation and flexible adjustment.
Compared to slimmer vintage-style rubber straps, Model 282 has a slightly bolder presence on the wrist. It works well on larger tool and dive watches where a longer strap length and more substantial visual weight help balance the case.
Made in Italy from vulcanized NBR rubber. Waterproof, UV-resistant, and nonallergenic.
Material & feel
Model 282 is made from vulcanized nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), selected for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to seawater and sunlight. The vulcanization process strengthens the material while keeping it supple, allowing the strap to bend easily without feeling soft or unstable.
The surface has a matte finish that resists lint and dust more effectively than many silicone straps. On the wrist, the strap feels flexible and controlled, with enough structure to stay secure while remaining comfortable for extended wear.
Carries a light vanilla scent, typical of Italian-made vulcanized rubber.

Model 282 is a tapered strap with a longer overall length than Model 281, making it better suited for larger wrists or watches with longer lug-to-lug dimensions. The perforated design allows for fine adjustment and improved airflow, helping the strap stay comfortable during extended wear.
Lug fit varies by size:
- 20mm width features notched lug ends for a closer fit on certain cases
- 22mm width has straight ends at the lugs
This strap accommodates spring bars up to 1.5mm in diameter.

Water resistant, suitable for brief exposure but not intended for swimming or prolonged contact with water.
Clean with lukewarm water and mild soap as needed. Rinse thoroughly to remove residue. Avoid solvents, petroleum-based cleaners, or abrasive materials, as they may damage the rubber surface. Dry with a soft cloth and allow the strap to air dry completely before wearing.
