Model 281 is a slim, vintage-leaning rubber strap inspired by dive watch designs of the 1960s. The profile is tapered and lightly contoured, with a slanted tail that gives it a more refined, period-correct look than most modern rubber straps.
A mix of round and ladder-style perforations provides ventilation and flexible adjustment while reinforcing the retro character. Compared to heavier dive rubbers, Model 281 wears lighter and more streamlined, making it a strong match for vintage divers and slimmer tool watches.
Made in Italy from vulcanized NBR rubber. Waterproof, UV-resistant, and nonallergenic.
Model 281 is made from vulcanized nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), selected for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to seawater and sunlight. The vulcanization process strengthens the material while keeping it supple, allowing the strap to bend easily without feeling soft or unstable.
The surface has a matte finish that resists lint and dust more effectively than many silicone straps. On the wrist, the strap feels flexible and controlled, with enough structure to stay secure while remaining comfortable for extended wear.
Carries a light vanilla scent, typical of Italian-made vulcanized rubber.
