Model 317 has a heavier, more assertive feel than Bonetto’s slimmer rubber designs. The strap carries more material through the length, with beveled embossing along the top edges that gives it definition without relying on waves or deep sculpting. Oblong sizing holes reinforce the utilitarian character and visually underline the strap’s tool-watch intent.
This is a design that leans into solidity. The broader profile, double keepers, and distinctive buckle hardware give the strap a grounded presence on the wrist. It suits watches where visual weight and durability matter, and where a lighter or more minimal rubber strap would feel out of balance.

Vulcanized nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) is used for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to seawater and sunlight. The material holds its shape well while still bending smoothly around the wrist, avoiding the soft or spongy feel found in lighter rubber straps.
On the wrist, Model 317 feels secure and deliberate. The added thickness provides structure, while the beveled edges soften transitions and prevent the strap from feeling blocky. The matte surface resists lint and dust and keeps the overall appearance clean and purposeful.

For routine care, rinse with lukewarm water and mild soap as needed. Rinse thoroughly to remove residue. Avoid solvents, petroleum-based cleaners, and abrasive materials, as these can damage the rubber. Dry with a soft cloth and allow the strap to air dry completely before wearing.
